vmad.gif We've been answering this kind of question since N years back.
tongue.gif Anyway, download Android System Info from play store. Then go to Second Tab, look under buildinfo. You should see either Takju, Yakju, Yakjuxw.
Then... Go to first page, Ctrl+F and look for Yakju. You'll get your answer there.

toggle switch only available on custom ROM

yakju build update is handle by google and non-yakju like yakjuxw is handle by samsung

Backup using CWM? Or toolkit?
You can follow the guide. But this is manual type. You can choose to use GNex Toolkit 7.4/7.5. They'll handle almost everything for you

This is my little guide. Follow if you feel it's right for you.

Since you've unlocked bootloader. I safely assume that you've installed ADB Driver. Then you can continue from Step 2. You can choose to let the toolkit to download the stock image for you at Step 7 or download from here https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
Choose Yakju 4.0.4 Maguro IMM76I

what is ADB driver? did you mean this Universal_Naked_Driver_0.7?

so i just follow this tutorial..

Assuming that you've installed ADB Driver and you know what you're doing.
1. Unlock bootloader
2. Download Google Factory Image Yakju IMM76I
3. Put the downloaded file (in .tgz extension) in C:/Galaxy Nexus Toolkit/put_google_factory_image_here
4. Connect your phone in Fastboot mode
5. Open GNex Toolkit 7.4
6. Choose 5 from first menu (Maguro IMM76I 4.0.4)
7. Choose 9, 'Download, Extract + Flash...'
8. Choose 2, 'Flash Google Factory Image'
9. Follow instructions on screen...
10. Finish, reboot then go to Settings-->About Phone-->System Updates-->Update/Install... whatever. It will say downloading but no Progress Bar. When it finishes download, it will prompt you to install now or later.
11. After JellyBean all finished updating, check about phone confirm it's 4.1.1, then GNex Toolkit 7.4-->Choose 7 (Maguro JRO3C 4.1.1)-->Choose 4 to root-->Choose 6 to flash CWM Touch
(Step 11 is optional)

Yea... You can follow this. I did this for my friend. To verify whether you have ADB Driver installed...
1. Settings->Developer Options->USB Debugging Ticked
2. GNex Toolkit 7.4/7.5. Check if there's a String of Alphabets/Numbers listed under ADB Devices
3. If there is, your adb driver is installed correctly.

Btw, can I know how you unlocked bootloader?
Wugfresh or GNex toolkit or ADB? Whichever way it is, you should already have ADB driver installed correctly on your PC to proceed to unlock bootloader.
You confirmed there's a lock at Google startup screen?

Newbie teach newbie way. But I know ADB also not that hard laugh.gif
But Toolkit is seriously as easy as ABC

@ikram84
Follow the guide with care
Precautions:
1) You must be on 4.0.4.
2) My guide is based on Galaxy Nexus Toolkit 7.4. I didn't verify the menu number of GNex Toolkit 7.5

No problem there. Since you know ADB, you can just follow the XDA guide.
For me, I choose the ABC way instead of Alpha Beta Omega way
