Previously IKEA uses Alliance CC terminal. Now they switch over to Citibank CC terminal. I believe Citibank is offering higher merchant fees for AMEX swipes than Alliance.

Is that a way to waived the rm50 gov tax without using the reward point??
Can I call to ask them to waived it??
Tq...

The term you should use is "offset the GST" ... not for Maybank. Must use TreatsPoints to offset the GST

We can now buy GOLD (paper gold) with your Maybankard Debit or Credit Card at selected Maybank branches.
Bad is that MBB's spread is one of the largest but do offer online trade.

If we can "untung" before the Statement Due Date, it's using the bank's money to earn money (RM0 capital)

QUOTE
Frequently Asked Questions - Purchasing Maybank Gold Investment Account (MGIA) via Maybankard Debit & Credit (Visa and MasterCard)

1. Which card can I use to purchase the MGIA?
You can use either Maybankard debit or credit. Only Maybankard Visa/MasterCard will be
accepted.

2. Will I earn TreatsPoints on the purchase?
No, you will not earn any TreatsPoints for the purchase of MGIA because it is not a retail
transaction.

3. Will I be charged any fees and charges for the purchase of MGIA?
No, you will not be charged any fee on the purchase. However, the standard fees and
charges for credit or debit cards still remain.

4. Will the purchase reflects in my credit card statement?
Yes, your purchase will be reflected in your credit card statement as example “MGIA- Bukit
Bintang”. Depending on the branch you purchase your MGIA, the branch will be stated under
the transaction description as well.
However, in the statement, since TreatsPoints are not applicable, they will be reversed
accordingly in your statement. The TreatsPoints for the purchase will be rationalized to “0” in
your statement.

5. Please note on the following when customer purchase MGIA via debit card, the
following must be observed:

a) Purchase limit is defaulted at RM500. If customer purchases MGIA more than RM500,
the transaction will be declined.
b) Therefore, the customer must be advised to change the purchase limit at ATM. Maximum
purchase limit allowed for Visa Debit is RM5,000 per day while maximum purchase limit
for MasterCard Debit Platinum is RM10,000 per day.

6. Can I use my credit/debit card to purchase MGIA for third party?
No, you are not allowed to purchase MGIA for other person (third party)

Hi, I have a question.

I had gone to Singapore and used MBB 2 Mastercard for pyt of hotel accomodation in mid of August. Till now (already one month), it still haven't shown in my statement/today/history transaction in my Mbb2u online A/C.  Any abnormality? What are the consequences of not making payment to this transaction if not appear in the MBB statement.

BTW, I had received the sms alert for from the Maybank right after the payment at the day of transaction.

Appreciate your advice.
*
It has not been posted.... rclxm9.gif icon_idea.gif thumbup.gif That means you don't need to pay until it gets posted in your statement (i.e. FOC)

just want to make sure, since 30th this month is on sunday, and we are getting our rebate early of the month. so if we buy stuff online, will it still show as last month's transaction, thus counted as last month's rebate or next month's?  if i'm not wrong online purchase sometimes will only appear on mb2u a few days after transaction, but transaction date still shows as previous weekend.
*
Just read the first page to understand the mechanism... it comes with examples.

I'm just curious whether a bill payment transaction will be captured on the same day itself or later. Because if it is on weekend, we get rebate + points. This is better than OCBC Titanium's 5%
*
That's for sure... previously not all Utilitiy Bills can be paid with AMEX over M2U.
The Transaction date will be on the same day you press the "confirm" button.

30/9/2012 bought a bracelet at Poh Kong
30/9/2012 refuel at Shell 11 a.m and 1030 p.m

However today, still there are no transaction being recorded in M2U but my outstanding balance has been recorded.

*
TAKE NOTE: You won't get the rebate calculated for Sep 2012 for these 2 weekend transactions, but under Oct 2012's calculation.

not sure if i should dedicate this question here as it has not much relation to MB2 cards, but more towards TP's enquiry, but couldn't ask the Phone consultant as they will have no idea as they are just "follow numbers" and claim items only... biggrin.gif

as i in need of an Grass Cutting / lawn mover machine, and i have quite a number of TP's (lets say... 600k++?), and there's ard 80k  expiring this year iinm. (brought foward points from other mbb cards) Since there's no "Direct exchange" of points for an Grass Cutter / lawn mover, may i ask that within the TP's catalog, which Company "sells" such stuffs? not willingly to pay even a single cent , For something that i always see my dad's bending down and cut the weeds and so, even thou sometimes i help him, but my hands get's numb fast after 20-30min cuts, and that is not something that i want to do all the time >.<

Hence, asking help from the Pro shoppers around here on this matter.

Shop that i Believe will be selling based on TP.

HSL / Seng Heng / Wah Lee (Eletrical related to such DIY home tools?)
Jusco / Giant / Tesco / Carefour  (Possible?)
Or last.. Harvey Norman... (i believe most of their stuffs are Extremely Expensive no? )

or any suggestions? smile.gif Thanks! tongue.gif
*
Harvey Norman's is nto really expensive... you can always ask for slight discount.
Parkson also has RM50 voucher redeem with 9300 TP, certain outlet has electrical items.
TreatsPoints do not expire...
600K TreatsPoints = RM3000 worth thumbup.gif sweat.gif drool.gif drool.gif

I got a better idea.... hire a part-time gardener for your dad.... smile.gif
Your dad can "goyang kaki" and supervise the gardener.
