I have a photo from a few years back.

I combined the cheap timber shelves that DeAgostini has as an option and put a better timber frame around it.

Now days it over full and I just have WW II armour in it with the modern tanks in boxes.

Apparently we don't have the same release schedule.
Issue 43)Sd.Kfz 7/1 with Sd. Ah 51 Trailer: 24.Pz.Div Don River sector (USSR) - 1942 . was only released for subscriber and not as normal issue here in Malaysia.

You may be talking about the specials like the German side of DeAgostini has.

There is also a DAK Desert Diorama and a pacific one that I know of.

The UK was not offered these as they are duplicated in the collection.

Wow... that's real nice setup there you have there. Seems like our cheap DeAgostini shelves differ in terms of materials. We have plastic instead of timber.

This isn't my latest shot but you can see the dodgy looking shelf there.

No comparison really Dragon is far superior.

DeAgostini is the parent company that owns Altaya and the quality of the models varies a lot, often it assembly issues likes wheels the wrong way around as in the Jagdpanther or the IS3.

I have never had a bad Dragon model but the good thing with the Combat Tank/Panzer Collection is that you get a lot of models that no one else makes.

I relation to the special issues that are sometimes offered as in the dioramas I would not even bother buying them as they are the same tanks as in the collection but I do like the Famo and trailer.

Thanks for the feedback. I did not know Altaya was part of DeAgostini. Yeah, dragon is much more superior than DeAgostini but as u rightfully mention, they have limited models. I believe Dragon has stop manufacturing the modern tanks. sad.gif
