QUOTE(MikeSAS1992 @ Sep 14 2012, 11:38 PM) the american Abrams are getting popularity become they destroyed cold war era T-72 tanks during operation iraqi freedom and desert strom. seriously ? those T-72 tank crews dont stand a chance. i would like to see the abrams get their ass kick by the Leopard or T-90 Yes, I agree. The Abrams was sent to fight a depleted, third-rate power during Op Iraqi freedom so they won an easy victory over there. Sure, the M1 is battle tested but to be a certified badass tank, you need to go against a comparable foe on the battlefield i.e. the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact of the 1980s.

QUOTE(Tiger I @ Sep 18 2012, 09:06 AM) the C1 Ariete isn't that shabby looking actually the details are a nice touch guys, do put spoiler if you wanted to discuss something different, but related yeah. just in case » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « play WoT, one of many ways to appreciate low silhouette and slope armor of any tank design, but with the cost of gun traverse :/ Hmm...these shots aren't bad at all. Good job Tiger Mk1!

Has anyone tried to redo the camo on these tanks? I think green is boring.

QUOTE(Fubar20 @ Sep 20 2012, 09:57 PM) Agreed. But they always can use grey. Yes, Fubar. Some tanks like the early production Tigers are painted in dark grey. Boring. I wish Agostini had adopted the more interesting camouflage schemes from 1943-44 instead.

QUOTE(Fubar20 @ Sep 20 2012, 10:34 PM) Hey, nobody stopping you from adding your own camo. Nice camo pictures that you attached. More towards forest / jungle terrain? Awesome bro. I hope they release models of legendary Russian armor like the T-34/85, KV-1 & the IS-2, IS-3 as well. I have to admit, these tanks kicked German butt during WW2.

I've noticed that on most tanks released so far, the tracks do not really engage with the main sprocket teeth. lol!

QUOTE(deathsoul @ Sep 30 2012, 06:04 PM) u can fix that actually..for upper tracks.. put small amount of super glue and stick it on wheel..like this.. before after P/S: if i understand you correctly. Good idea! The tracks look historically accurate with a little bit more play to them.

QUOTE(Tiger I @ Oct 1 2012, 11:50 AM) IDK much on this TBH. Personally I prefer the ambush dot camo. This camo might be suitable for tall grasses, bushes and similar in the summer though. http://panzer100slopedarmor.blogspot.com/2...h-normandy.htmlbut then again the camo looks rather funky that what it supposed to look like: Added on October 1, 2012, 1:54 pmas we can observe, the camo scheme is actually different from the actual real steel version: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cup0fjoe/5651265569/it is somewhat like this: That camo looks pretty good. BTW, does anyone know where I can buy Dragon 1/72 scale tank models? Any shops selling those in KL/PJ?

Jagdpanzer IV for issue 16? Woohoo!! Anyway, here are some photos of the Elefant Tank Destroyer -- not made by Agostini, mind you. [attachmentid=3087254][attachmentid=3087254][attachmentid=3087254] This post has been edited by PzGman: Oct 7 2012, 12:18 AM Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(Tiger I @ Oct 8 2012, 08:27 AM) lovely elefant u have there oh god yes guderian's duck (currently using it in WoT) Hey, thanks! Went to XL-Shop to enquire whether they'll be stocking up on Dragon Armor in the future. Sadly, the answer was negative. Now I'm thinking about going down to S'pore to find some cuz these models are bloody rare and quite impossible to get a hold of in M'sia.

QUOTE(deathsoul @ Oct 9 2012, 12:16 AM) yes bro..almost perfect this model.. no need to repair the wheel or other parts.. mine only cannot move turret freely and i just need to clear out excess metal inside the hole.. Agostini's models are quite detailed but they need to pay more attention to QC. Using higher quality plastic for the tracks would be nice.

QUOTE(aquilaTE @ Oct 10 2012, 08:21 PM) It would be nice if they can keep to QC but for something this reasonable and at high volume, I dun think they can do it. Yeah, you're right aquila. Now, imagine if they source the models from Dragon...
