omerishmael: I'm having the same tot as you bro. Right now making something but it's the most simplest and fastest and cheapest way to get my lazy butt moving to start diorama projects.

Awesome bro. I hope they release models of legendary Russian armor like the T-34/85, KV-1 & the IS-2, IS-3 as well. I have to admit, these tanks kicked German butt during WW2.

Hi all,

You guys have great collection! Let me introduce myself. I am Wilson from down under (Singapore). The Combat Tank magazine collection issue 1 just came to our shores last week, and guess what it was missing the magazine No 1! sad.gif I got it at Kino bookstore , did not check properly as the model and the cardboard backing was shrink wrapped.

Anyway, the 1st issue was S$4.90 and it was a no-brainer since it came with a Tiger tank! Since i have already some of the Tiger models in Dragon Armor, i compared it and the quality isn't up on par with Dragon Armor. E.g. the front wheel protrudes too much out of the hull, if you look at the real photos it should be almost flush with the dirt guard. Having said that Dragon Armor costs about 30SGD whereas this Deagostini one is about 14SGD so I expect a difference in quality. But overall the model looks about right nod.gif

I see some interesting models coming up e.g. T-55, Merkava and Stryker which dragon armor did not have so I am collecting this series but selectively biggrin.gif I asked my local allscript branch if I get the 4 free gifts when i subscribe but so far no reply.. the gifts are listed at http://www.deagostini.co.nz/tanks-singapore/subscribe.htm - do u guys get these free gifts??

I am an armor and warplane fan also, started my collection since 2004. It now includes K&C 1/30 scale armor and toy soldiers, Hobby master 1/72 diecast warplane and armor and Dragon armor 1/35 and 1/72 and Dragon warbirds 1/72. My armor collection is almost all German WW2 whereas warbirds is mixture of WW2 and modern combat aircraft. Total items i think about 120, lost count... brows.gif

I shall post pics of my collection once I have the time sweat.gif
