Hi, recently went to glenmarie service centre.
I making a duplicate key for my beetle as the old one was broken.
So I left my car at their place cause they need to do the coding with the new key so it will sync with the car.
After a week at their place, I called them asking if the job is done. They said yes.
So I went there on Saturday, the guy at front counter told me to wait for them to prepare my car.
I wait and wait and wait....until 1hour plus..
I got fed up and asked the guy wheres my car.. And to my surprise he said the key is missing!!! wtf!!
So I don't want to make a scene as I understand they got a lot of customer that day and I decided to wait for them to find the key..
After another 30mins, I cannot tahan anymore... I went to the garage and found my car, and yes the key is not there.
So I wandering around the garage and found like a frame where they hook all the car keys and happen that I can spot my key as the new key being attached with a piece of paper with a barcode.
So I asked a staff over there and asked him if that is my key. He don't know. So I demand to hold the key and went to my car and press the unlock button. And guess what... It is my key. So I ask the staff if i can take my car now. He said need to confirm with the earlier front desk guy.
So the staff and I went to that guy and ask him. And the guy just ya ya, that the key u can take the car now..
So I went to my car, but the car can't start. I went look at the engine and found that the air filter connection is not being fitted. So I fit it myself!!
but still cannot start. So I asked a nearby staff and he call the chief mechanic.
And to my surprise a lot is not being connected yet... mostly around the air filter components.
After he done that I told advise him to tell his staff to be more professional. If the car is not ready yet, just tell me so la!!!
Luckily im not the type who will shout at people. i just shout in forum hahahaha
Just sharing my experience la....
