Nano Optics arrived today. Applied. It was sOOOOoo thin... I think I need to be more careful the next time I apply it. I have 3 more to experiment with.
You really have to be careful when handling this SPs... |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Jul 20 2012, 11:39 PM) Celcom? Check a few pages back for VPN settings. Nothing wrong with your modem. Just Celcom being stupid. Sometimes cannot, sometimes can. Nope. On maxis.. I can't seem to get it straight... Restored back nandroid backup, still the same. Only a factory reset seems to solve the problem... Trust me, people on Stock Modem and Stock ROM has the same issue. My SGS 2 on ICS also had the same issue. However, restored back my backup and wanna find a work around first... See if I can find it. On wanamlite1.8rc1 and siyah 1.3.8a |

now.... data seems to be back... or at least I hope it is... I don't think I still know what exactly happened... here's what I encountered:
1. Turn on mobile data to surf. 2. Receives e-mail, facebook updates, whatsapps... etc 3. emails/whatsapp seems normal 4. facebook loading a bit longer than usual especially when signal shows 3G or H+... which normally is speedy 5. Gets to E quite often 6. Load ICS+ or Stock browser, takes forever to load whatever page.. comes back with an error of something to do with either not authenticating or connecting with proxy server. I don't know how I changed it back to normal.. |

QUOTE(RedDevils88 @ Jul 20 2012, 10:58 AM) QUOTE(Eiraku @ Jul 21 2012, 12:50 AM) Maxis... is blocking you? blocking me? any reason for it to be so? How do I find out?In my case it was the market (AND only the market) being slow as crapazoola sometimes (usually at night) on 3G, something only VPN would fix. How do I fix it via VPN? The exact pop-up in the browser was "authentication via proxy server was unsuccessful" This post has been edited by Dark_Angel85: Jul 21 2012, 01:09 AM |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Jul 21 2012, 12:53 AM) I think is Maxis issue, recently it bad for me as well, and keep switch to G or E, and got timing one. I would like to think it was a Maxis issue also.. but my girlfriend using also another siii side by side with me... damn fast line... she's of course everything stock unmodded la.I so feed-up, now I force it all time in H only. But I don't think the ROM or the kernel has anything to do with this. Frustrating la... cause onlining is my most frequent use of the phone |

QUOTE(silrave @ Jul 21 2012, 03:18 PM) That's just strange. What game do you play that causes that? Normal games keep the screen on when there is activity even IF you don't touch the screen. However, that still shouldn't happen if you have Smart Stay on. check your game. reinstall or something.BTW, what modems you fellas using? DXLF3? I'm using DXLF3. How is it compared to DXLE8 or DXLE9? better? Cheers |

QUOTE(silrave @ Jul 22 2012, 02:55 AM) haha Go to contacts>export to SD card. I always find this way the safest. TiBU and Gmail also not so safe as this one.ok all my contact got g le but i do titanium back up perform all apps back up only incase setting got problem but i dunno they back up those apps store at where is it inside sdcard / titanium folder ? QUOTE(silrave @ Jul 22 2012, 03:29 AM) now doing A hard reset should always solve a software problem. If you were having screen dimming because of a software tweak that was causing the issue, it should be fine. If after a hard reset and still happening. I'm almost 100% sure it's hardware related... hence: SCreset factory mode T T worry Added on July 22, 2012, 3:31 amdunno can back up whatsapp messsage those or not QUOTE(silrave @ Jul 22 2012, 04:36 AM) weird TiBU is an excellent backup/restore app. However, do take caution of restoring SYSTEM APPS. In my experience, it does SOMETIMES make the apps a bit f***ed up. Try redownloading system apps from Play store, then restore DATA from TiBU.i use titanium back up i back up apps already i copy the titanium folder in to my pc when reset factory setting then i go paste back to same folder i press restore but nth appear? QUOTE(rafeal @ Jul 22 2012, 08:53 AM) Erm... you always toggle prox sensor on/off? WHY!?! hehehe... no need la |

I remember reading somewhere that 10/10 people who were tested to determine which headset/headphones produced better sound quality from the same device, can't tell the difference.
It is more of a placebo effect. The thing that does differentiate are: 1. Comfort when wearing 2. The device that it's plugged into which has the ability of producing better sound quality through the headphones. |

QUOTE(aBcD-| @ Jul 23 2012, 06:02 PM) does anyone have lagging performance while searching music from music player via keyboard ? How many music files do you have? As usual, with a lot of songs, it tends to load for a while. This applies in searching too.. Not to mention the loading of album art.Not really sure,it happens 2 times,as last time my phone was freeze and it auto restart. However, it should not freeze and reboot while doing that. Try reinstalling or using another 3rd party music app to see if it happesn |

QUOTE(aBcD-| @ Jul 23 2012, 06:22 PM) About 150,well the name of songs been loaded and I can scrolling down without problem 150 is NOT a lot at all... so it shouldn't be the lagging problem.Haven't install any 3rd party application yet,but the music player was comes with samsung. Try to reboot and clear cache, see if it happens again? I should assume not especially if you're stock everything. Again, try downloading a 3rd party app? I see that Poweramp and Doubletwist seems very popular |

Nokia saves it's contacts individually. It doesn't import all into one .vcf file like android.
If I'm not mistaken.. it uses vCards 2.1/3.0 Erm... wow... I think that was when I was still in Maemo-land... which I think should apply to all Nokias. One thing is, there is no 1 single vcf file, but you can select all and just sync it to a PC. then just copy those into the SIII... or... if you're willing to wait over bluetooth, then just bluetooth them over. Some Nokias can't bluetooth contacts... it is in a 'sync' function. Especially those ol' generation nokias. Correct me if i'm wrong |
