So THIS is the SupCur Merajuk story. I din have time to check out what happened, but I DID hear he merajuk lol. No wonder Siyah has sound mods and VS is nowhere to be found.

I'm waiting for his ScreenExpert app but that also seems like it will take time until after he finishes merajuk-ing.

@mjoe: First question: ARE YOU ON CELCOM? Because market downloads have been flaky (read: snail slow - if it even starts at all) for me too, and strangely enough it's only slow at night. No amount of clearing data and reinstalling market worked for me either.

Sloved the problem by using VPN (just simple PPTP with the built in implementation) whenever the market starts to shaft me.

Edit: Just saw that YOU ARE on Celcom. Then it's prolly Celcom being stupid and closing ports at night, because I can VPN past the blockage and IT DOESN'T FREAKING HAPPEN DURING THE DAY.

But when I receive whatsapp from that contact the notification tone is same as the ring tone. It's not the same as the normal whatsapp notification.

Or do I need to set the tone at whatsapp instead?

Like I said, just up a free VPN. FreeVPNToday is fine for this, if you NEED to download something urgently.

I suspect Celcom is closing certain ports at night/peak times. Or limiting access to certain ports/dns whatever and causing slowdowns in Market. In the daytime it downloads fine.

EDIT: It's fine now. Must be occasional network disruptions.

is vpn safe? Can my info get hacked? also, when i tried to use vpn, it asked to use screen lock.now i have to press password everytime.no more the water ripple effect how to remove the screen lock???

It's like this. VPN is a secure connection. A device with no password lock of any kind IS NOT SECURE TO BEGIN WITH. So logically you can only use VPN once your device is secured.

You CAN do both water ripple AND password/gesture lock though. Go to Setting -> Security and check "With Swipe Lock" and you'll get both.

Hmm. Just deactivate the screen security lock. You won't be able to use VPN anymore though, except by using third party root apps.

Hmm, I'm trying it out myself. Seems once you set security its sorta hard to turn back.

Try wiping the VPN list first?

solved..tap the vpn( the vpn that were set) for 3 seconds.hold it..and can see menu for deleting it
