Like I said, just up a free VPN. FreeVPNToday is fine for this, if you NEED to download something urgently.

I suspect Celcom is closing certain ports at night/peak times. Or limiting access to certain ports/dns whatever and causing slowdowns in Market. In the daytime it downloads fine.

EDIT: It's fine now. Must be occasional network disruptions.

Toggle 3G mafan unless you're on CM or AOSP. Just set data to turn off when screen off with scheduled turn ons for notification polling.

@XeactorZ: Yes, and it's accaptably fast with no quota too. Drawback is you gotta get a new password from the site every... time... you... wanna... connect...

I just set a bookmark for the password page and copy replace the pass into the VPN page every time I connect so for occasional use (and low level hotspot shielding) it's more than enough. Also that pass is valid for about 48 hours of CONSTANT use ONLY and it's only PPTP (not THAT secure but at least better than nothing).

Finally, while you can stream stuff using it, P2P is NOT ALLOWED.
