Are there any 35mm 1.4 range for FF alpha mount apart from sony's and the super rare Minolta? The sigma 30 1.4 is apsc only.

for those who loves panorama stitch , please do try this free and great app Microsoft Research Image Composite Editor (ICE) [ http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/red...groups/ivm/ice/ ]
- faster stitching than photoshop - more functions like making gigapan-like images on photosynth.net - easy to use UI ![]() i tried stitching 41 images with this on my crappy c2d laptop without any problem or even makan the processing power, unlike on Ps CS5 for sure will crash sample pics stitched above : http://flic.kr/p/d6XpjS ![]() 41 image stitch : http://flic.kr/p/d3Dyi1 * Panorama of Gold Coast beach ![]() Photosynth : http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=9d1163...c0-c1fbb26dfea1 |

QUOTE(clianaswtor @ Sep 9 2012, 10:12 AM) Hello all. I just got a Rokinon 800mm lens for my Sony Alpha 65. Unfortunately, the lens uses a different mount. Anyone know what kind of adaptor I need? I know my Sony camera has an A-mount, not sure what mount the lens has. Also, where can I get an adaptor? Thanks! Rokinon could be the Samyang rebatch, probably using T mount ?if so u can get from shashinki try snap pic of the mount share here maybe some1 could help Added on September 9, 2012, 11:56 am QUOTE(geek8585 @ Sep 9 2012, 12:17 AM) Added on September 9, 2012, 12:25 amwan to hear something for you guys... if the lens i have now for my 5N are 18-55mm + 16mm + 50mm... do you think it is necessary to add a Sigma 30mm ? i sold the macro 30mm anyways if u buy 30/35mm range prime, most likely u would prefer that than the 50mm after that This post has been edited by mastering89: Sep 9 2012, 11:56 AM |

Sony really go all out this time
hopefully they come out with a not full spec FF later for those who dont need the video functions and lesser MP for more burst rate like for sports shooters if they could make a NEX-VG in FF, not long for Nex to have FF sensor too |

tiewgine8039 : wah love #1, #2 and the last one
#2 abit senget but lovely another way to get decent exposure (my lazy way may induce noise but just for sake of having the pic than not have at all or need to edit kaw2 not suitable for potraits my ajaran sesat exposure play 1) reduce EV to -1 or darker 2) choose DRO+ level to 3-4-5 depends on situation ( level 5 usually is bad ) optional 3) choose Jpeg + RAW just in case 4) choose bracketing shot just in case u get lah something like this EV -1.3 : DRO Level 4 ![]() EV -1.0 : DRO Level 3 (non edited , just crop) ![]() |

QUOTE(tiewgine8039 @ Sep 28 2012, 06:02 PM) Thanks! dont follow my ajaran sesat that much Added on September 28, 2012, 6:04 pm Ajaran sesat works well for me, will try out soon. Don't realized #2 is senget. Normally I shoot with digital accelerometer in viewfinder. Wondering why.. Thanks for the comment. Errr... what is bracketing? ![]() Bracketing in camera allows u to shoot multiple image with varied exposure or white balance or DRO. sometimes people means bracketing by doing HDR images (shooting multiple exposure value images , then compile into 1 image) or DRI from many exposure on left compiled to 1 single image on right ![]() ![]() |

QUOTE(shootkk @ Oct 12 2012, 10:29 AM) mastering89 : If you are referring to the bokeh part that a FF can produce, here's a shot to poison you. Of course cannot get too wide background like the Brenizer method lah but no need to stitch so many shots together.. haha jangan lah racun Taken using the 50mm f1.4 at aperture of f2 and ISO of 2500. For those who are afraid to use high ISO, see if the noise in this shot bothers you. Mind you I am using the A850 dinosour in terms of ISO ratings. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « i like 50mm on FF, especially for candid/street similar to 35mm but with moar bokeh hopefully a850/900 user buy a99 sell me the dinasour FF cheap2 high iso wise, i still prefer dinasour tech over latest one. the noise or should i say grain is nearly similar to film. especially B&W Ramli Sarip performing at my uni ![]() QUOTE(Chihuahua921 @ Oct 12 2012, 03:55 PM) Nice bokeh!
