Another supporter of A57&18-135mm lens here.  Great lens for any scenes, including macro(not that macro that can take a bee's legs with hair lah). Quite good on focusing and is silent for a SAM lens. A happy and satisfied user of A57M. rclxms.gif
I have a funny feeling, I think my P&S performs slightly better on landscape photography.

try to play with the Aperture... use F8... that will give you more DOF...
or like the other bro said... use the scene feature to help...
there is a lot of things that i need to learn when swap over to DSLR...
manual settings of different scene is one of them...
u need to master which to use and what to change during different location and time...

try out Aperture Priority... it is good for fast adjustment... smile.gif

BTW when you are snapping some stationary things... use smaller aperture... F8 or F11...
that will give you more things in focus...

michael9413, I love shot #7 where the grass blades forms a frame to enclose the sun, yet the sun's rays is like trying to break free away from the enclosure. Very nice work on that one!

Everyone seems to be b-i-t-c-h-y beachie.... so I also wanna join in the fun and post a sunset beach shot lah.  laugh.gif

A rather different, cold tone though....

A99 with SAL1635Z. 125s, F18.0, 16mm, ISO50, AWB, RAW. ND8 used.
Made a wrong estimate on the shutter speed and had to push the exposure real bad (more than +2ev) and do heavy noise reduction later. Not recommended. Will have to do better next time! Never give up! flex.gif

Thanks... yours very nice... really want to do something like that but I do not have ND filter...

I'm looking for ND filter... need to ask whether buy those variable or fix type? Then I saw something like cokin with holder. Is that feasible to invest 1? Because I like to take scenery and landscape...

that raksasa current price how much ahh???any links??

Should be around 200 plus for Sandisk 16GB 95mb/s...
Some one is selling at Alphanatics forum around that price... Sony 32GB one... speed I'm not sure... but it is written up to 95mb/s on the packaging (look at the photo provided)

I got 2 Sandisk on my hand... 1 using and 1 still in packaging unused... as i got another FOC Sony 16GB from Uncle when I buy the A65 from him...

QUOTE(Raz0rX @ Dec 10 2012, 07:18 PM)
thank shootkk, ieR, Gmruleme and for the advice ~~

1. Been taking pic wif my a580 for almost a year.
2. dont know how many picture have been taken, but can said that most of my picture is using 1855.
3. was thinking that if 1855 + 55200 = 18200 or 18250 in term of quality ?? if same y not have 1 lens instead of 2 lenses
4. find that 1855 is a bit too short and i tend to take picture from quite a distance for natural picture of my frens and family.
5. but the ultimate is that i wan good quality picture..~~

thank for all SIFU de advice, am a beginner in photography ~~
*
i'm one of them whom sell the 18-250 off... did not want it as the end of Tele the IQ is not good, it is more towards the soft side... even the center of the photo not that sharp... now i'm using Tamron 17-50 and Minolta Beercan 70-210...
