Actually, processor speed not the most important factor. I've tried running xbmc on a raspberry pi with only 750mhz processor playing full hd movie and it works fine. Just make sure the hardware/software support audio passthrough because decoding hd audio takes a lot of cpu power.
*
Thank you Sphiroth, totally agree with you :-) Audio codec is always the tricky part.

Can this smart tv box stream TVB channels live?
*
Bro, is not the hardware could or could not stream TVB channel, but PPS packet was throttled seriously by the local ISP. Currently PPS throughput has been throttled until like turtle 1KB/s. Hope this is temporary.

may i know is it can watch any tv program?

Yes, you can watch live tv from PPTV and other apps. Are you refer to which TV channels? Asia or Western?

Western TV always some challenge due to license infringement..

is this something like chromecast?
*
This is same as your normal Android phone, you just install the same apps from Google Play and output to your TV. Most of the apps run in the Android phone can run in the device.

howabout live sport ? ex: epl, nba ????

The live sport are also due to license infringement, could not easily get. But you can Google more about Sopcast and xBMC live sport which could be install in Android. You can test the apps via your Android phone as well.
