Yes. Currently using one.

Thank you WK, is great you have tested the USB hub. Are you using passive or active usb hub? Active USB hub come with power adaptor.

Personally I did not test the USB hub because of bad past experience with another player.

Hi,

Please PM me the price for MK808. Meanwhile, what is the difference between yours model and MK808? Please advise.
*
Sorry bro, currently we do not dare to import MK808 because of bad comment about mk808.
Pls refer to below link :
http://www.armtvtech.com/armtvtechforum/vi...6&t=22&start=60

In fact, new processors and new OS would need some time to stable.

Cool.

Btw, the bundled wireless mouse us it an air mouse? I mean the one with gyro and accelerometer like smartphone?

Also can this player controlled by android smartphone? How about file sharing and streaming (from smartphone)?

Sorry for so many question.
*
Sorry bro, just typical wireless mouse.

As I know, standard Android OS do not have remote access function. Anyhow, you have triggered very good idea, I will check if remote access apps available for Android such as VNC, PCAnywhere and etc. I need to explore this before answer you.

File sharing and streaming is not a problem just need the appropriate apps.

Hi!
May I know this android TV box comes with  Amlogic 8726-M6(MX) or Amlogic 8726-M3? please enlighten me.. Thanks!
*
Thank you for inquiry. The CPU is 8726-M3 as mentioned in the thread.
user posted image

Just to be noted that selection factor of Android TV box is not the CPU speed, the most important is the stability of the CPU running on the stable android OS. Don't be over impress by the specification due to competition among the SoC manufacturer. As you know those china TV box manufacturer are very small, some manufacturer just release the product with latest CPU without proper testing.
If your purpose is to explore new technology then it is ok to look for latest CPU. If your purpose is to have good entertainment box, I would advise you to buy a stable and reliable Android box which has been tested properly.

Thanks TS!
You are right.. even the new rockchip 3066 dual core processor on mk808 only showing 1024x720 resolution according to Antutu.. it is streched when showing 1920x1080p.. for normal usage just like heavy weekend/midnight movie, web browsing and light games does this player suffice? and the display is not stretched as mk808?
*
Thank you bro, if your purpose is just as you mentioned above the player will be more then sufficient.

I have been contact mk808 manufacturer, they have admitted the problem in JB and the screen stretching. This is what I mean the product release with latest CPU and latest OS version, but the risk of having bugs.

Pls allow me to ask another question if you don't mind, are you watching movies from PPS or downloaded movies? Among the online streaming Apps, the only working apps with smooth streaming in Malaysia is PPS because the peer to peer community is big enough.

mostly downloaded movies.. n I will venture in PPS also.. anyway thumbs up for good product  thumbup.gif Definitely one of my interest list.. hope to that I can purchase this product soon  smile.gif
*
The limitation of PPS is the language. The entire PPS is using Chinese character no English, if you could not read Chinese then you might have problem to use PPS. Beside PPS, IceStream is not bad with English language and English movies only, but need to download before watch. IceStream will be preinstalled in the player.

Trusted seller...buy from him last week....always feel free to answer all my questions....will introduce to my friends too

know that hi media just release...the one that i bought also support hishare or not??
*
Thank you bro. HiShare is the apps developed by HiMEDIA, the HIShare receiver is pre-install in the hardware. However, you could goto Google Play Store down the app called AirPlay/DLNA Receiver, it do the same as HiShare. You can share the files and video from your Smart Phone or Tablet to your Android TV.

If you would like to share PC files and manage from your PC browser, you may try AirDroid from the Google Play, but the ScreenCast does not work because it required rooted devices.

Hi PM best price to Shah Alam please.

Currently have a Buffalo NAS at home. How do you play files in the NAS? Using DLNA or direct streaming over TCP/IP?
*
Thank you for your inquiry bro.

There is free ES Explorer apps where you can access the NAS server via Samba, NFS or Windows Shared folder. Beside NAS, it support cloud storage such as Dropbox and SkyDrive. Pls explorer further from the below link.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...droid.pop&hl=en

There is DLNA receiver for Android Lite version and proffesional version. The lite version play well for photos, but video streaming is not as good as prof version.

So in order to play the files in the NAS, the android box would need to install ES Explorer from Playstore? From there on, the android box would recognize the file type and play the files accordingly?
*
I could preinstall the ES Explorer for you if you want, the android will auto detect the media files. If you have more than one player apps, it will prompt you to select.

For NAS, I recommend using vplayer upnp apps. Set the NAS media server to enable. The player support most format, except subtitle (srt).
*
Thank you bro for the info sharing, I am not sure Buffalo NAS support media server, but generally all NAS support Samba and NFS. ES explorer is straight forward to access without configuration at NAS server.

However if the NAS support media server, it will be added advantage to explore media streaming instead of file sharing.

I'm actually using buffalo linkstation NAS. Just make sure wi-fi is fast enough for streaming, else will get lag especially when fast forward. All Share apps and also Vplayer will sometimes unable to find shared file (maybe apps got bug) but ES explorer got no problem at all.
*
I agreed with you bro, the problem could be the apps or the media server daemon. Samba and NFS protocol has been used in UNIX/LINUX environment long history already, the stability and efficiency within the LAN is better than DLNA.

Btw, please don't have high expectation for buffalo nas. It is slow. Even slower when multiple user access the nas at the same time, up to a point even sd video will lag.

Thank you bro for the info.

I recommend using xbmc apps for media player. Got really nice feature such as artwork/cover downloader and also subtitle downloader. With artwork, your media library will be really nice. And this app also got audio passthrough.
*
Yes, XBMC tested working fine. For anyone interested pls refer to the top of this thread, I hv added the link to download the apk file, remember to choose "None Neon" version.

@Sphiroth, pls try iMediaShare app, not bad :-)

Any good Sport Channel to recommend?
