Hello Gardeners. With CNY around the corner, those lucky bamboo and lotus bamboo plants are everywhere. Anyone has tips on how to take care of them? Are they short lived plants? In the past, the ones I bought always ended up with their stalks yellowing and rotting.

How long did it take for the sunflower to sprout from the time you planted the seeds? Where to get sunflower seeds for planting?

I am interested to plant bamboo (in pots) at my balcony. Anyone has done similar, can share some pictures? What type of bamboos are good i.e. easy to care, can take heat, etc.

Any succulent experts here? smile.gif

I bought a succulent plant 2 Sundays ago and has only watered it once since then. I noticed that few days after watering, one of the leaves is starting to turn yellowish. Based on Google, this means it is over watered. I'm wondering how that is possible as I only watered it one time and I made sure the water drained out.

I've had many succulents died on me in the past so I'm wondering where did I go wrong again this time. The pot is in a shady spot.

Anyone has any other tips to prevent the whole pot from turning yellow?
