Hello Gardeners.  With CNY around the corner, those lucky bamboo and lotus bamboo plants are everywhere. Anyone has tips on how to take care of them? Are they short lived plants? In the past, the ones I bought always ended up with their stalks yellowing and rotting.

Can anyone advise where to buy mushroom spores for self-growing?  Not the ones with the substrate bag, just the spores / seeds.  Tq

What plants can prevent the mosquitoes ? i heard is lemon grass plant ?
How easy to plant it ? just buy seed and water normally then wola ?

My aloe vera plant leaves are turning brown at the tip.  Can I just cut that part off? Will it grow new ones back at the top?

Also, any suggestions how to prevent the leaves from spreading out during its growth.  I put my plant at the balcony and the leaves are taking up space cos they spread out too much.
