QUOTE(watabakiu @ Nov 19 2017, 01:40 AM) Any recommendations for crawler plants that can withstand changes in weather (searing hot to very wet seasons) and is resilient to withstand abuse/neglect? Any ideas? Antigonon leptopus and Combretum indicum do well in the local climate, and are very popular here (in Sarawak at least). Or for a less imaginative but excellently hardy plant, Bouganvillea spectabilis.

Hi there. Can anyone recommend a flowering plant that would grow well under a shady tree? Ideally lots of flowers. Not so much tall stalks, but looking for something that will make the earth padat with flowers (even small ones).
Also, one of my friends showed a pic with a purple plant with tall flowers, very similar to lavender (but not lavender). Anyone identify?
