QUOTE(DecaPix @ Nov 20 2012, 09:17 AM) hhmm.. i tot the duck already has his unifi installed? my unifi was at old house, and i terminating it soon just get a home plug lo...easy and simple the FTO channels are much clearer than from astro because i carried it on from my older housemate, and i cant afford 20mb alone. rather than mafan downgrade, i terus make new line at new house xD Added on November 20, 2012, 9:41 am QUOTE(wilsonjack228 @ Nov 20 2012, 08:31 AM) Well they can setup the whole thing but leave out the hypptv , i was saying if u need it next time then problem lo that means they can pull cable to test, then leave it out once confirm working? This post has been edited by newly wed duck: Nov 20 2012, 09:41 AM |

QUOTE(DecaPix @ Nov 20 2012, 11:15 AM) if no TV there how they going to test? i have tv, just its dowstairs, and i want my router upstairs. and i cant move the tv up and down coz its 55"means they wont even test it. they just ask you to sign all ok and leave next time when you want the HyppTV, you have to call them in again and get service charge lo how? |

QUOTE(wilsonjack228 @ Nov 20 2012, 12:59 PM) Unless u have a super long lan cable , its unlikely they gona test it . Its either u have a tv at the router area o not . Either just find someone move the tv up on the day of insallation or buy a power plug like decapix said . U said u wont use it then why waste on the power plug then . Just mafan a bit move the tv. Just what i thought hm so that means the contractor can opt not to test the tv at all but mark it as "working" on their assessment sheet? |

QUOTE(fubs @ Nov 22 2012, 03:26 PM) Hi guys, got a question. nope, diff portIs it possible to use our Unifi account at other location? For example, I have a 20mbps unifi account for my house, can I use the account at another house as I have moved? The new house has a 5mbps Unifi account installed but I would prefer to use the currently unused 20mbps account Just wondering if i can just change the account in the modem to get a better speed. Or do i need to contact cs? |

Anyway, anyone got a solution to make the hyppTV go wireless? should i use some elcheapo rangeextender n connect between the IPTV-port n the hypp-box? i got one unused belkin router lying around, n since the tv aint interrupted by rain, might as well use it ---- found a thread for dis: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1912544/all Added on November 23, 2012, 8:27 pm ![]() i noticed this in the new l7 router, and the simulator on dlink's site shows there is no operator account on the l7 router. im looking for a way to delete those tm hsbb ssids, who knows tm wants to turn them on one day and hogging up my line. any1 have any idea? the old dlink had a "multiple wireless ssid" option but this l7 one doesnt This post has been edited by newly wed duck: Nov 23 2012, 08:27 PM |

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Dec 1 2012, 05:59 PM) Just to let u guys know something nope, management id is the superuserwhen my bro upgraded to oku 20 from vip 5 since last week sat. The speed was like download capped at 5 with a flux of upload to 20. capped meaning u will see it hitting 20 and then slowing down to 5. dlink router given normal config was totally changed with no QSS on it etc. Changed to tp-link 1043nd for him 20/20. so the question is. Is there more to the dlink settings that cant be seen in the management username id?? It was capping my bro at 5. interesting eh. Added on December 1, 2012, 10:34 pm QUOTE(tw0911 @ Dec 1 2012, 01:14 PM) you means the photo of the router or the specs? do you have the the specs of the router? is it wireless n 300? can't find it on the net... router. honestly after 2 weeks, i can say the hardware is the same, just better softwareThis post has been edited by newly wed duck: Dec 1 2012, 10:34 PM |
