because I still thinking of moving from Streamyx

IP address has nothing to do with speed. I'm on 110 today 115 yesterday, full speed.

Just got myself UniFi installed at my home this morning .. haven't got the chance to try out the speed with benchmark tools ..

The 1st time when I tried surfing the NET when the contractor told me its ready .. it wasn't really what I expected with the VIP 5 package even I was alone using the line ..

It's different??? That dude only gave me this wifi PIN that he used to activate IPTV and wireless pass when he came to install and never gave me anything else. How do I find out my Unifi password now???

I dont think TM actually has a monopoly on this. Just that other ISP are not willing to invest so much in HSBB right now.

To remove the myth that TM monopoly the HSBB business by location, my condo has both Time & Unifi both serving together in the very same building.

selikatwo : should be no problem...get a HDMI-DVI-D converter. Make your LCD Monitor can accept DVI-D connection.
then you need to connect the sound from the hypp tv STB directly to ur speakers.

Worst case scenario is to use a RCA-VGA adapter.

why bad ? you have 2 choices to choose from. I think its good enough. Alot of them are only stuck with a single choice.

Ban them (maxis) - they are not qualified at all to be service provider, all freaking slow, can save $ by subscribing to them but prepare to get heart attack and high blood when you need their help and fast respond.

Don't worry, Hungry Ghost month almost coming to the end. One more week to go, it will be over.

All the ghosts will go back to their own world. They will all release the Internet access and your Unifi will go back to normal.

Just installed unifi vip20 after switching from time fibre.

And the unifi speed is great at the moment. Much betta than time

Times speed was not as i expected. Very slow downloads, youtube streaming very slow. Much slower than my previous streamyx 4mb. So cancelled the line and chged to unifi vip20. Working like a charm now
