How spacious is HCH? My height is 6 feet 2. DO you guys think the passenger behind me will have leg room?

I just called a dealer requesting for test drive. The SA told me that HCH no test drive? Is it true?

All, I finally found one show room and tested the HCH. The driving experience was ok.

The car is actually not under power. However, one thing though. When I tried to accelerate, the car response was good and went ahead right away. Good torque power I can say. However, after I released the pedal, the car slows down faster than I thought. My feeling might be wrong.

I do not have any problem on the auto stop. I had experience driving a Toyota Prius. So, I do expect this will be the Hybrid car experience that I will adapt sooner or later. Unlike Insights and CRX, HCH aircond remains cooling even the engine is stopped. So this is another plus point.

Another observation while I was driving HCH. Due to the ventilation windows at the back of the seats were covered by the plastic, I heard a loud air suction noises. I asked the SA, why the air suction noises are so loud. He explained to me, coz the windows are still covered by the plastic as the car is the brand new one. It will not be any sound once the plastic is being removed. Is this true? Any opinion from the HCH driver here?

which branch u go to that has HCH?

I went to the Glenmarie branch. In fact the car wasn't the test drive car, but the SA is kind enough to let me drive at the surrounding area.

Does anyone know any SA who can get the Polished Metal Metalic color? I spoke with one SA from Jalan Imbi, he told me that very hard to get coz Thaliand stopped production for this colour. Man, this is my favourite colour for HCH.

Yesterday I had a long chat over the phone with one of the SA. I got a feeling that they can give as high as RM5k rebate for HCH. Since I have yet to make booking, I do not want to negotiate with her yet. So far what are the rebates / gifts you all get?

Finally made by booking yesterday. My SA told me that the previously discontinued Grey alike color is now replaced by a new color Modern metalic. Good that they still have a new color replacement.

Yeah man. Don't be so sad. It's still a wonderful car that you own. Indeed, white color is hard to maintain. Just need to wash it more frequently. smile.gif Can't wait to have my new HCH ready. Feel so excited now.

What is that Modern metallic color? When I place my booking only 3 colors available, black, white and frosty white (light bluish).
*
Modern Metallic is grey colour alike. The SA told me that it is the new addition to the 3 colors. The Modern Metallic is also same color that used by the new Honda Accord.

Honestly, this is one of my only doubt of feeling jerky but I still went ahead to buy HCH. Keep the finger cross, I hope I will get use to it faster and like many other owners mentioned: "learn the trick of stepping on the pedal."

Im so looking forward to get my HCH. Im in the process of getting my car loan approved. Heard from my SA that I will be getting my car within 10 days after signing the agreement.

No wonder you are getting so many free stuff. My SA gave me RK4k discount. I also wanted to try and see whether she can give me full tank and smart tag etc.

I have to wait until next week.... cry.gif
I also dunno what thing have to check, I think only outlook we can see, body paint, seat leather, all them lamp. Then other thing have drive only know heat else problem.
*
No worry bro. Just few more days to reach next week. Also, need to beware of the body kit. At first I wanted to install the agent recommended body kit. I later noticed that the fuel tank plastic / fiber cover underneath the car will be removed (and will not be covered back again) as to leave space for the body kit. I am worry this will impact the air flow of the car as there will be a hole underneath my car, despite a body kit installed.

So I decided not to install the body kit as it looks a little bit ugly if you bend down and see the underneath.

Collected my car last Friday. The driving experience is superb! When I collected my car, my SA patiently explaining all the functions one by one to me. I satisfy the service from her.

One of explanation touches on the Keyless remote control. She told me that if the remote control is out of battery, I can use the built in key to open the car. I threw back a question to her" "...yes I can open the door. Will the alarm triggers? If so, how do I disable the alarm..". She paused a while and said will get back to me.

Any expert here have the answer?
