Ya, that's the most simple way to switch off the auto off engine mode.

actually i quite curious how is the S mode work, in 2.0s when u put at S mode, you will be controlling the gear with paddle shift...

as for hybrid, there is no paddle shift but an S mode at the gear position... so if i use the car go up genting, how should i control the gear? hmm.gif

i know i sounds really noob icon_question.gif

biggrin.gif There is nothing for u to play gear. I goes up genting few time and i just drive using D mode. Of cos i drive in a manner way but not aggressive way. If u feel the car is underpower, u can switch it to S mode any time to get extra speed up power.

well... i don't think the car will be underpower as it generate the torque which equivalent to 1.8s based on the fact sheel... guess will just off econ button... hahaha

hey bro, many thanks... will go for civic hybrid soon... gonna ask is it the metallic grey available for the hybrid... flex.gif

bro really thanks a lot for your reply...

for Q1, i do heard that when switch to S mode, the engine wont auto stop anymore.. my concern not only wear and tear of the car engine, but the slightly vibrating of cabin when the engine restart... it do happen on a merz c200 (don't bash me out of topic, but just sharing what i experience)

as for Q4, meaning to say in order for the engine auto stop at traffic light, my leg cannot have a rest by releasing the pedal? in short, the auto stop will only reading the brake pedal signal and not the gear, right  blush.gif

the torque is better than a 1.8, because since half of the torque is provided by the ima system, you will get immediate power and thus great for climbing.

Some added on regnox replied.

2. There is no botton to switch on or off the auto stop function but u can choose to off using the steering manual setting botton.

4.The aircon won't switch off when the engine auto stop. New hybrid had recover the aircon autostop issue.

6. Yes. New civic come with bluetooth and reverse cam function.

Bro what do u mean with steering manual setting button?

wow... thanks a lot for your feedback... hybrid does come with HSA (hill start assist) which 1.8 and 2.0 don't have...
for me, i guess hybrid is just lose on the top speed part...

anyway, confirmed metallic grey is available for civic hybrid...

and whoever interested to buy a civic hybrid, please act now !!! start 1/1/14, there will be no more tax exemption on the hybrid car and it will easily cost 30k extra for this car... a revised tax exemption will be announced by end or mid of Jan14 on the NAP policy... hopefully it won't delay again... if my prediction is right, there will be a slightly hike on tax in hybrid car due to the fast adaption of hybrid car in malaysia market and petrol price issue in malaysia...

u can see our gov really "hungry" now.... everyone receive their cukai tanah letter d right? so i don't think tax exemption will brought forward to jan14... hmm.gif

just my RM0.02...

U shud ask Honda service center or their warranty claim advisor. I didnt install any one of the above in my HCH. At 1st i tot wanna install locktech but then i get to know that without the remote key, the car cant start even though u manage to find the wire n bypass push start button wire. The engine need the ignition code sending from ur remote key only can start. Unless the thief use towing car to steal away ur car. If so, even u install locktech also he can steal ur car. blush.gif
