Were batteries supposed to come with the LEDs? If not, are they hard to find?
*
not at all.. i think you should be able to find some at supermarkets.. if i remember correctly, that's where the batteries for my 00 Raiser's LEDs were found

hmm.gif cannot quite classify as HG.. since it still retains SD style look.. haha

and the Nu Ground Type really does not seem to bring anything new to the table.. main MS still the same with added weapons hmm.gif
maybe they'll use the weapons for another release? i don't think they would waste a new mold whistling.gif

daban has very good quality, very close to original and good detailing.. however MCModel always have very highly detailed models and comes up with their own designs
plastic wise, daban will win, since MC, although it has much better detailing, the plastic is slightly softer than daban
overall though they both are really good brands for bootleg (not sure if MC is really considered bootleg.. more like 3rd party tongue.gif) and you can just go ahead and pick whichever designs you like best without worrying thumbup.gif

TT Hongli (TTHL), GaoGao, GoGo and Daban are basically the same company, from what i heard.. TTHL changed their name to GaoGao after some lawsuit so those 2 are the same thing.. GoGo focuses on EVO kits, those slightly modified ones such as Hi Nu EVO and Sazabi EVO, while Daban seem to focus on newer releases
but plastic-wise, Daban is better, followed closely by GoGo then GaoGao/TTHL
TT Hongli would have the worst plastic quality as you may need to sand and glue to make it fit nicely.. this is due to these being their earliest releases.. so they had time to fix and all that.. so don't worry when buying GaoGao as they have fixed most of the problems TTHL kits had laugh.gif and Daban you don't have to think twice brows.gif

Because I have a very bad experience of SD from Jargon..
That's why I am asking about the bootleg product..
What is the ratio if u compare bandai with daban?
It's lik bandai is 100/100 thn daban is how much?
And, daban price is normally how much lower thn bandai?
Thank you very much for ur information bro!

you can expect it to be around half of the original.. plus minus according to china market.. now seems to be going up doh.gif
as for Daban, their latest kit i built, 00 Raiser.. can see the molding and details quite clearly.. and no problems snapfitting.. i can put it at about 98%+ as good as ori laugh.gif
sometimes is maybe the color slightly different or clear parts darker than original.. but overall the quality is very good laugh.gif
SDs normally won't be that good.. but if you go for these HG or MG then it will be fine

but one warning.. never EVER buy Model GD or GHD.. this brand made a lot of people give up on bootleg whistling.gif they are the worst! Daban is way way way better thumbup.gif

but if u want SDs, look for CSModel or QY brand.. these 2 make very good SDs laugh.gif

just personal opinion.. haha.. so far i have absolutely no complaints.. for the price i am paying, i'm getting some pretty good stuff laugh.gif it's best to try for yourself.. i'm sure you will not regret smile.gif i suggest the MG 00Raiser or 00 7 Sword! that is one of the newer ones and definitely will have little to no problems

Buy 1 and test it out la..~... Reading other people comment and self build sure have different feeling and different experience..

my first advice to first time playing bootleg..!

1) Don't push it, if can't snap fit it properly.. see where's the problem, maybe trying to dig a bit here n there or trim 45Degree of the male peg, then sure can have easy snapfit.. Dont' trim too much on the male peg also.. else u will need UHU glue or Mr Hobby Cement to make it firm again..

2) If too loose.. don't la complain too loose and no good.. fix it using a simple super glue technique.. lay abit on the male peg and female hole, then quickly insert and pull out.. do it a few time.. and super glue dries up quickly.. it will make it more stiffer!.

All these are consider basic skills needed to play Bootleg kits or 3rd party kits.. Ofcoz for the brands such as DABAN + GOGO + MCMODEL + GaoGao has lesser problems compare to brand such as GHD + JARGON +BENDI.. but have to remember.. always

If buy Bootleg, don't expect it to be perfect like BANDAI.. Sure have some flaws.. such as the plastic quality.. and also the colors.. are not actually that glossy like BANDAI brand.

As needed to rephrase again,

3) Normally Bootlegs/3rd party kits are used to accommodate those who really want to collect Gundam but don't have much money to play ORIGINAL
4) For those who want to use it as spare parts to replace the broken parts from Original
5) For those who are into Modelling and to savage a few parts here and there..
6) For those who are starting to learn the basic of gunpla and to enhance their skills such as how to paint + weathering + detailing + decaling,

Well, sorry for the long gassy explanation but if is rich enough.. just ignore the last 4 points and should actually stick back to Original then Bootleg/Pirated/3rd Party Gundam.

Anyway, Welcome to the China Made Gunpla Thread~

Cheers,

agreed! you should get 1 to try out smile.gif the fact that china gunpla has enough fans to have a thread of it's own in the forum, and is really active should prove to you that it is something worth noting

getting one to try out will not cost you as much as one original brand kit, and u get to experience as well as enjoy your hobby! so i highly recommend u pick one out for yourself to try thumbup.gif can (almost) guarantee you will not regret!

the almost is there because some hardcore bandai brand players will just keep bashing on china gunpla no matter how good it is.. hopefully u are not one of these people tongue.gif
