i've been there once before with my wife and kids. very friendly and helpful seller. the shop located near dewan bahasa dan pustaka. i would prefer buying from daikong than that BSC shop.

my advise to you start with something basic and try not to exceed rm500. you still don't know yet will you like it or not. i bought my beginner set secondhand and it was rm140. rm800 you can do a lot of things lah boss in model railroad.

i'll be back in kl in august and i'll be bringing back 20pcs of flexi track (1m in length each and flexible so can bend make into curves)

is that piko starter pack digital?

once you are into model railroad you'll spend lots of $$$ on points (intersection on track) in the beginning so you need to choose wisely. 1 hornby point with motorized unit can easily cost you at least rm150 each if you order from bangsar. go to amazon.com and search for life-like remote switch... after convert rm45 each only and it's motorized and i'm using them at the moment

hi judge

ive browsed thru thefavoritespot ebay products
really impressive

tempted to buy the acela train set for rm 660.. but the shipping cost is almost half the cost of the train itself lol

and one thingi read is that..
we wont mark down the prices of the product or mark it as a gift
please check with ur country's customs b4 bidding for the product =.=

the set.. plus shipping cost plus dono how much the duty to be imposed by the stupid custom... sigh

wat if u buy for me from nz... ill pay u back plus maybe rm 100 for "shipping cost" ? tongue.gif haha

oh...the set with track and train is not full length. its just the motor car.

eg for N700A, there is "starter pack" with 4 carriage and a trackset included (powerpack included)

but to reach full length, you will need to buy 8-car add-on and 4-car add-on which makes it 16 car which is same as real train
*
ic then i shud buy starter pack with tracks and the powerpack which i assume is the speed controller ... hehe

http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/list/1697/0/1

i found that website ... so many models available... hmmm you buy those tracks online as well?

i believe yours is this model? ----> http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10222888

*

its just that the model i want only have N-scale.

I either go Tam-Tam in Akihabara, Tokyo or Volks in Denden town, Osaka
*
oic for starter like me... which scale u recommend? in terms of ease of installation, ease of buying accessories online....

please post more pics of ur train sets if u have time biggrin.gif

hmm different. the pic say put level and pull them apart.

my kato is like hold both side and break it like /\
*
oh put level and pull them apart... so easy

hahaha but the new track hold like glue... omg i hope i don break them apart.... kinda hard to pull them apart in a complete full circular track

kato is break /\

easier xD

kato n track and tomix n track cannot combine then sad.gif

in msia nowhere sell this kinda track / accesorries right ??? must buy online or go japan ?
wat if i wanna extend the track into bigger tracks... using ONE train set... do i need to add power pack??? or no limit as long as all tracks are connected ?
