Yeah, it's called Trains N Toys. They stock up alot of Marklin and Trix trains at their shop. Kinda pricey plus i dont like Marklin system.

Yep, the quality is superb la. American and Japanese also kalah, hehe but with quality comes high price too. Marklin uses AC to power the trains while the other brands like Atlas, Kato, Athearn, Tomix, Hornby, Lima and Bachmann use DC. Marklin is very pricey and they usually manufacture European models only.

American starter set is way cheaper. You can pick one up for USD40-50 and ship it to Malaysia for USD20-40. That's still cheaper than Marklin or Trix starter sets.

thanks for the information , no wonder the train set for 1 pcs is around RM 800 (train that got smoke come out) and also the lamp post , house, car all very expensive  doh.gif

luckly i didn't buy at that time .  sweat.gif

so bro u buy the train only or you buy the whole set include the diorama .

now i also tak tau want to go for train set or marine fish because both  will cost me around Rm 1300  to set up  hmm.gif

I bought the train set, then the diorama i did it myself on a very small board. The board size also around 3x2ft. Very simple to do. If you need help, a couple of us railway modellers dont mind. We are in the same dillemma. I need to buy a bigger fish tank for my Goldfish also but then, need the money to setup a bigger layout(diorama), hahahaha.

Yup, thats the one I have as well, my sister bought it 4 me thru ebay while she was in the UK. I heard that there is another set of the Hornby Intercity 225(The box design is different)

I think maybe one day Im gonna order the track pieces slowly.

I have some extra brand new tracks for sale. PM me if you need some.

Very susah la bro. I've been searching too. The closest we can get is the Blue Tiger. I am planning to start my new layout very soon. It will be a wall layout U shape. Around 14ft x 7ft x 14ft. Going to model US railroad, Tri-Rail Florida.

Wow, nice collection. That Piko trainset is one of my favourite. You bought it from Raymond?

I guess you are very keen on Digital. I use MRC Prodigy Express. Got it off Ebay for RM300 when the MY currency was stronger a couple of months ago.

Below is Bachmann DF11 China Railways mainline locomotive. Very smooth runner plus almost silent. It weighs a ton!

Hi modellers. I have just spent some time going through the models you have shared in this topic. Nice.  biggrin.gif

I got a question. I have been looking for a Kelana Jaya Line LRT Train model for quite some time, but haven't found any. Do you know of any?

The nearest I have found is this RapidKL Kelana Jaya Line LRT N-scale "rubber display model".
