QUOTE(c010 @ Jul 16 2012, 11:55 AM) i think you have to rephrase that. if you flash stock rom using PC Odin, the binary count will kick in. However, if you already running a custom rom or kernel that supports CWM, when you flash a custom rom or kernel it wont trigger the binary count. that's explain, thanks all |

QUOTE(ranc79 @ Jul 16 2012, 02:36 PM) just go to download the latest fw from sammobile and flash it using odin.. as if those who update through kies.. the file s will be 700MB ++.. so it's no different you go and get it from sammobile ok, so if we root with odin, mean i will lost the root and back to stock, if i stayed with the new flashed update, next time i can receive update over ota? am i correct? |

QUOTE(ranc79 @ Jul 16 2012, 02:43 PM) i suppose you mean flash, right? if you flash then you will lost the root unless you use the mobile odin pro which will make your root stay. even if you rooted the update version of fw.. you still can receive the ota.. sadly my fren's phone(never flash and root), still not receiving ota, i got it the first dayi had rooted my s3 before the ota and i had no problem to update it through ota.. as long as you are using cf-root 6.3 and above which solve the ota problem |
