the guy must have katuk u ardy..
infact there are many sp types.
wet and dry.
wet have clear(really clear) but downside is rubbery and attracts fingerprints
dry got matt(60% vision, 40% loss), secretive(140' angle viewing), crystal(very clear), diamond(like diamonds), shiny(sparkling like glitter) and anti fingerprint (which is self explanatory )
*
Must ask, how much he pay for sp ? Coz not so many branded/great quality sp for GNex available in Msia. Clear type not so clear coz cheap gua hahaha . . . .

cannotlar..
jailbreak only give free apps...(well thats what iphone users use it for anyways)
root gives full access in controls.
itz like auto pilot OFF.
control ur clock, control hardware functions, let u remotely on ur gps for tracking if lost ur phone, antivirus, prevent from factory reset(superwipe will kill it though), overall it gives the phone an extra edge of whats ardy capable..not just free apps..

Hahaha, after your reply, i'll pull back my comment. Rooted Android's awesomeness was incomparable . . . .

This morning dirty flash my Bigxie V2 to V3 for Android 4.1.1 and tested with 3G on, battery life kinda sucks

user posted image

I use stock kernel ( whatever in V3 ), quite little screen time ( around 1 hour ), listen to music for almost 2 hours. On screen mostly just to check-in foursquare as wondering around PC fair n low yat n t.square, GPS off, wifi never on.

Hence decided to try on Android Revolution HD 6, freakin awesome. When i thought project butter on JB was smooth, then ARHD 6 just show me the true butter experience. Swiping through app drawer with my fastest ever swipe and there's no lag at all.
Need more ppl to test and provide input on this.

Had to use for whole day tomorrow to report on batt life and/or stability ( if got issue ). Confirmed that youtube app cant use, however there's always m.youtube in browser.

Don't understand...

U-mobile my friend used prepaid. He used to stream NBA on iPad smooth like butter when DiGi can't even connect to internet  doh.gif
*
UMobile was HSPA+ 3.75G, and DIGI was EDGE 2.75G although they called it Turbo3G but it's EDGE.

nope... DiGi has HSDPA or so called 3.5G. It's not up to HSPA+ but it's not EDGE too. I force it into WCDMA mode to use in my uni. In certain area can get 1 Bar signal. In certain area no signal at all. Forget about edge  laugh.gif
*
Phone will show HSPA+ or 9.9G, it doesnt meant it's what it shown. Digi has only acquired 3G license at 2009, at specific area only. The speed Digi offered shows clearly their network infrastructure wasnt at full 3G capacity yet, and in case you doubt, 3 years was too little time for setting up telecommunication infrastructure. YES tooks many years to set up their WiMAX network even got fined for late released of service, and still coverage was limited. UMobile had their HSPA+ network in selected area within KL, with Berjaya group throwing money for infrastructure but still their own coverage was limited, outside their coverage had to rely on Celcom. It tooks decade to had proper infrastructure coverage over a country, and while Digi already had their 2G network coverage country wide, it still need tonnes of money and time to upgrade to 3G infrastructure.

When I click install app on play store from PC, my phone does not install any app automatically like it used to be.

I had tried re-add my gmail on the phone.

It is because I installed the Jelly Bean version of play store apk on my phone manually?

I am on Bigxie 4.1.1

the reason i ask because there are RM5 SP, there are RM35 SP, do they really make difference kah?

yesterday i ask a seller he said all same, then i ask another seller, he said not same.

when i google also i find yes and no answer, so i figure it may be better to ask here.
*
Difference in feel of touches and clarity and contrast etc. Touches of good SP was good, while cheap normal quality SP felt plastic.

The SP can improve touch feel, Color and contrast kah? or is it best to not put any on if can take care not to scratch the screen.
*
I doesnt improve, as naked screen was best to touch, but cheap and good sp does have diff feel.

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Jul 15 2012, 11:34 PM)
Funny la you... Even nexus shows it as hsdpa, why doubt. Are you telling me that with edge I can hit 800kbps? Edge theoretical speed is just 2XXkbps. 3G theoretical speed 384kbps. Not saying that the service is good just to tell that it's real Hsdpa, not fake.
[attachmentid=2948716]
By the way, if you can find back old post in  digi broadband thread, the early adopters of digi broadband has a special speed. That's three years back. They're hitting 40m speed. I got no idea how they hit the speed as our modem shouldn't make that happen but I can say this is real. They are just capping it at 800kbps. Digi line is stable. For me the prob is coverage.
*
LOLz, you are the one funny to believe signal icon on phone, like i said it wasnt accurate. Dated back to iPhone 4 release and ppl complaining about phone signal very low or dropping rapidly when holding in certain position. Apple's solution was release a patch that modify how the phone calculate signal, which in simple word, they boost up the signal strength 'shown' on your phone.

And i'm not doubting Digi didnt have 3G network setting up but am simply stating that their network infrastructure was still far from complete to offer 3G coverage on whole network.

Speed test thing is plain simple to fool. Connection between two very close station will ensure very high speed. Try speedtest on US and your speed will drop dramastically.

I'm ex Digi user that uses their data service since before they start 3G coverage. Their EDGE was quite good as i'm surfing in LRT, but their 3G network wasnt stable enough, hence why i switch to Maxis now. Digi wasnt capping their speed but thier infrastructure wasnt powerful enough to handle 3.5G or 3.75G full speed yet.

If wanted to boost ringing sound level, try method that use S3 audio file, seems working.

Last time use HTC Touch, do have 2 batteries. Quite handy coz it will be lighter, and keep your device slim. Only trouble was if you dont have external battery charger, charging battery on phone then switch another piece and charge again was quite frustrated.

as a photographer, i would say its good under light, but bad in poorly lit conditions. Zero lag shutter is useful once you know how to use it. be one with your phone, accept its weaknesses and use its strengths.

btw JB's camera app pwns! just take a picture and swipe back to review, if don't like it, then swipe up to delete. No sense or touchwiz nonsense
*
As a photographer also, hate GNex, OneX, S3 camera. Sacrifice quality over speed. Same 8MP photos from S2 had larger size than S3, due to S3's higher compression rate. Got to say, my previous phone Nexus S had better camera quality than GNex, although need 1 sec for AF, however still hate GNex's fast shutter, which dont care about auto focus, thus if you shake your hand by a little bit, blur is the outcome. Hate that when i dont expert enough to mod camera app for forced AF when press shutter button.
