soulfly@
I suggest that you could add another rule in the list, Cpu-z for the screenshot must be the latest version,if im not wrong for now v1.32 is the latest one and the voltage reading is accurate. This is to avoid wrong voltage readings,as we know the previous version do play hide and seek. Suggestion: If the submited Cpu-z screenshot is not the latest version(v1.32),that ranking will not be count in our database. anarchist@ Its now 5:10am |

QUOTE(soulfly @ Feb 24 2006, 11:03 AM) Ok,its just a suggestion ah_khoo@ Anyway,as mention by soulfly before this database shouldn't be for only show off/ranking thingy, its more to reffrence. So it is the best if we could provide the real vcore etc and of course its up to individu king's 2cent. QUOTE(anarchist @ Feb 24 2006, 12:58 PM) hehehe good chip eh? Acctually i love to clock any chip without raising the vcore, get to the max with burn-in first, then i'll consider adding the vcore later on. you got a gem from me man... anyway 2.5ghz @ 1.36 @ stock cooler you can go slightly higher than that on stock, try it.... Sorry, forgot to mention, both Cpu and chip applied with AS5. p/s: My Smartguardian is special LYN moded edition And again, thanks anarchist for the superb chip. QUOTE(soulfly @ Feb 24 2006, 11:02 PM) I don't need any proof. Owh,got it.thanks for the explaination. If you don't already know.... burn-in is a process in speed binning. Somehow burn-in method done by users refined what's done at the factory. So... it depends on luck whether you get big, small or no improvement at all. |

QUOTE(soulfly @ Feb 28 2006, 05:03 PM) kianwee's result removed Its not about i know or you know, that's the reading in bios and most of the overclockers or overclockers database follow the voltage in bios but im not telling that we must follow them. You have come out with new thing and that's exactly good.Venice default voltage is 1.4V. I really wonder how come you don't know about this. Im still new and learning new things about overclocking everyday. So let's try to make our database more accurate eventhough i know most of the rankings cpu voltage in our database does not follow the real or bios reading. Suggestion: Could you pls update the first post regarding this issue,i mean cpu voltage,so we all can easily understand about it while looking at the rules®ulation. |

QUOTE(soulfly @ Feb 28 2006, 11:36 PM) I should say that it's better to trust of what we do, not of what we see Ok nice, hope everyone could understand this.Regarding the voltage.... the rationale behind it was, to get the result at the particular setup that we wanted. For example, we want the cpu to run at 2500mhz at 1.4v.... that is the setting that we want, not 1.36V or 1.41v eventhough the reading shows different value. Cheers. |
