i have some silly question, i always use the car steering lock (pusing the steering to left) to lock the steering..will it affect the alignment because the wheel is not moving while the steering move..haha

QUOTE(scofield @ Jul 11 2012, 09:12 PM) should be ok but need to use low gear and dun speed Added on July 11, 2012, 9:22 pm QUOTE(gogoman86 @ Jul 11 2012, 09:09 PM) doesn't matter, as long as your tyre didn't ramp into any holes, the alignment won't misaligned so easily haha..ya wo..but its use pressure to turn the steering as the engine is off...This post has been edited by nickzkuso: Jul 11 2012, 09:22 PM |

QUOTE(riezzien @ Jul 11 2012, 09:22 PM) Badjer : I'm driving FLX standard and yes the seatbelt indicator isn't available in our cars. yeah, just like my FL, that time consider own salary that might not afford the monthly installment but now is short of fog light, body color handle and side mirror, electric side mirror and airbag This small2 things sometimes made me regret for not choosing executive |

QUOTE(gogoman86 @ Jul 11 2012, 09:27 PM) alignment is something to do with the fine tuning the screw from the bottom, and with engine off, it won't harm the alignment, but it could damage your steering shaft hmm, but the features is built in car, i think should be fine..haha» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « standard and executive price not much different, that's the reason i go for executive... Added on July 11, 2012, 9:30 pm it doesn't affect much on our monthly installment either you choose Standard or Executive spec, it's just +/- not more than RM100 not only the monthly installment, is about the downpayment as well.. the stupid branch cant make the 0% DP as per promised and i have to pay for the DP. Thats why and "its too late to apologize~~~~" |

QUOTE(gogoman86 @ Jul 11 2012, 09:54 PM) yeah, agree with that, the choice is ours, and we gonna drive it for few years until we afford for buy another car ya, agree with every reason is good to go for executive but i canot go back anymore..so for any new buyer, have to consider to get a better category if the difference is not so big ps. car is just a transportation, doesn't need to invest so much money on it since the market value for existing car keep dropping unless we invest it on housing |

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Jul 11 2012, 10:14 PM) Did I mentioned its on my Iswaga? It 1st grinds a hole at the plastic wheel arch cover, then it grind off the bitumen spray until can see shinny besi. Ever since I hooked up the spacers, later downgraded 14", those metal exposed places has been left rusted. I used to stay in Taman Connaught, I do UTURN at Len Sen everyday, atleast twice. thanks for the great explanation and no wonder heard some fluid sound when i turn the steering..sometimes no but sometimes worst... I may be sifu, but not as hawt as you think. Pre-tensioner is a locking mechanism to prevent your seat belt to release you forward when emergency brake. Which sometimes when you get up the car try to pull your seatbelt but it stuck, you'll have to release a little and pull again. To further explain, your seatbelt got tension spring that will roll it back to the sleeve. The roller came with gear end, the end hooked up with a roly-poly trigger. When you hit the brake, the roly-poly will drop due to inertia, and your roller got jammed and to prevent you leaning forward. Once you release brake, either the car is stationary or continue moving forward then the roly-poly will automatically move back up so your roller is free to roll again, and your seat belt able to pull again. By the way, roly-poly means this 1 ![]() The above explained pre-tensioner in layman term for those who wanted to know more. So now you know it has nothing to do with the LED on your dashboard. As seniors over here answered, only haier spec BLM/FX/FLX got the LED indicator, the rest ilek. More info about how pre-tensioner works with other safety feature in motor vehicle(which GaGa doesn't have, may be Dugong has it for the pricy reason) Pulling the steering wheel left/right without starting engine has very minimal affect to your wheel alignment, more effect to your power steering pump/arm. Your steering uses hydraulic pump to pump hydraulic fluid to amplify the turning force from your steering to the wheel. Without engine start, by forcing the steering wheel is pumping the hydraulic fluid in a close cylinder. HOWEVER, and theoretically car manufacturer by right will build the cylinder to withhold the pressure up to certain amount(unknown), therefore slightly move the steering wheel left/right not more than 1/2 round should be ok.... QUOTE(badjer @ Jul 11 2012, 11:02 PM) just my opinion, dont create so many hassle if the fact is STD version dont have the indicator light.what we can get at last is only apology or some reward? that also if you are lucky enuf to "lie" dou something back same to your airbag light, the panel is just standard panel across all the saga version...the icon is there but no function >< This post has been edited by nickzkuso: Jul 11 2012, 11:08 PM |
