This kind of food quite low interest even among us....rarely seen ppl raving about nasi kerabu compare to say bah kut teh or asam laksa....

not much different from indonesian food too..which is not famous also worldwide...

most malaysians, including myself, have close to zero exposure to what good food actually is.

even the shitty shitty shitty places that serve shitty shitty shitty food like pappa rich and  old town are doing very good business and growing everyday. it just shows how poor us malaysians are at telling good food from bad.

fair enough...some of us have been trained to like our food since young. that is understandable. read up about pavlov conditioning to learn more...

my point is, the rather cold reception for malaysian food elsewhere says a lot about our current cuisine. not enough creativity! how many new dishes coming out? every food court i go sells the same thing

so cry for the lost river fishes  ...almost cant find compared to 15 years ago...this is BN for you. extract as much from our country as possible...where is thinking about future?

now banglas and myanmar run our stalls with "superb" sauces. i cant imagine 10 years laters how....we eat banglarized food i think...
