Hi guys, does the Mach branch in Pavillion provide 60
Minutes approval for Mach or only the one in midvalley does that?

Wanna try my luck to submit for Mach laugh.gif
*
Midvalley is the one that has the card issuance machine according to the agent that handled my application.

Does anyone else's monthly rebates get rounded down? e.g. from RM32.43 to RM32.
*
Mine, from RM3.31 to RM3 doh.gif

Meanwhile, as this is my first statement, I've this RM100 campaign cashback with the RM3 cashback, after the statement is out. This made my outstanding amount is lesser than my statement amount. Which one should I pay? icon_question.gif

Can I change my statement date? If yes, how?

Just need to pay the statement amount - cashback to make your statement outstanding = 0.

new transactions amounts only need to be paid in next cycle.
*
Thanks for the advise!

QUOTE(Prodigenous Zee @ Jun 12 2015, 11:40 AM)
Already maximised my cashback for this quarter. Next quarter can try again tongue.gif
Call CS and request to change statement date. Very fast and easy.
*
Thanks and I have change my statement date successfully rclxms.gif I was confused by the automated instruction and don't know how to get to speak to the CS directly. shakehead.gif

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Jun 12 2015, 11:47 AM)
any dates or pre-set dates?
*
The first 3 choices that I wanted is not available. According to the CS, there's certain quota for each date, ended up taking the 4th choice as my new statement date.

After they give you the first 3 options, don't press anything and just wait on the line. After a few seconds it will transfer you to a CS smile.gif

What I did was after selecting language, press 2 and follow with a 0 tongue.gif Was connected to CS almost instantly.

Just did request to change my statement date as well, CS said it can be 1st-5th of the month whichever you like

Do you know effective immediately or the next day??
*
QUOTE(yongxiang @ Jun 15 2015, 09:38 AM)
Should be immediately. However your next statement will depends on which ever that is earlier, either old statement date or new statement date.
*
Yea CS said my coming statement will remain the old date as it is nearer to current date, then subsequent statement will follow the new date. smile.gif

We appreciate you as a customer of Mach and that's why we're finding ways to improve our services further. We are very interested in understanding how your experience has been with us.

To do this we have a simple survey for you to complete, just 20 questions about your banking experience and it shouldn't take longer than 15 minutes of your time.

We'll even return the favour with a RM40 Zalora e-Voucher for your efforts!
Let's get started:

You may refer to a few posts earlier. We received the email & answer the survey twice, but using 2 different email IDs to register our response.

Hello if I do not have a hong leong bank account, how do i make my credit card payment?
*
IBG from other bank account and select as credit card payment.

QUOTE(kelvinlzy @ Aug 4 2015, 09:27 AM)
This is what I called False Advertising. They didn't even show the MCC code you have to obtain from the transactions at Zara. Look at the T&C under Style description: https://www.machbyhongleongbank.com/product...ch-credit-card/ and see for yourself. And now they are saying you need to have this MCC code to eligible for the cash back? Just what? mad.gif

Even Starbucks logo is still shown under dining category in their brochures. Funny thing is, now that you have mentioned it, all these dining places I went and were not categorized under dining is categorized under 5499 Manual Feed, yeah the system wants you to manually feed it, to tell it whether or not the transactions fall under dining category. grumble.gif
*
I have at least 2 dining transactions were not under dining category too after 2 mths of using this card. Can I suggest to have TS to start noting down these merchants in 1st post?

I don't mind helping out this section if updating the list could help la.

After all, this would contribute to the Maybank 2 cards thread for 5% weekend dining in the end.

If nobody wants to help, I volunteer to update the dining list for everyone's reference laugh.gif

Hi, I'd just like to highlight that there's slight difference for dining category for M2C AMEX (MCC 5812, 5813, & 5814 - source)& Mach Card (MCC 5811, 5812, & 5814 - source)

The main difference is that M2C AMEX excluded Caterers while Mach Card excluded Drinking Places, Bars, Taverns, Cocktail Lounges, Nightclubs and Discotheques.

Frisson Coffee Bar @ Damansara Uptown & Onde-onde @ Citta Mall are NOT eligible DINING.

Shall we do it the other way round too? Mark those merchants within category so that others can go straight to those dining places without concern whether they are eligible dining or not.

Thank you chiahau in advance! notworthy.gif

Me, I chose MACH just for dining reason only. laugh.gif
*
Maybe we should ask the other way round, any Mach card holders here choose category other than dining laugh.gif

those eateries that allows 'Happy Hour' for alcohol drinking usually are not part of 'Dining'.
I've learned my lesson already.
*
My lesson learnt is those eateries which contain the word "Bar" in their name are usually not under 'Dining'. Too bad I only realised that Ante also has it in its full restaurant name after I paid with Mach card. shakehead.gif

However, surprised to find that Uniqlo online is entitled for cashback! Good for those who have maximised cashback of their credit card for online category.
