I had requested for credit limit increase for this card & Maybank at the same time.
Maybank increased my credit limit from 2x of gross salary to 3x of gross salary.
HLB rejected my credit limit increase application and remained at credit limit of 1.5x of gross salary.

Dear All Sifu, to confirm Mach Credit Card cash rebate mechanism
Example: Let say I take Trendsetter, the maximum cash back is RM100 EACH per quarter for Dining, Major Style Outlets and purchase at AirAsia right (Total RM300/quarter)?
For cash rebate, it will be credited to Mach credit card on calendar month basis until I max up the RM100 for that category (Example: Dining) right?

QUOTE(ronnie @ May 2 2017, 11:58 AM) It's RM100 per quarter for all categories chosen.... not what you think. The current payout is done on month end. Eg. April cashback is given on 30-April 2017, posted on 1-May-2017Thanks ronnie. Then I already fully utilized all in April. Thought to purchase AirAsia ticket with Mach

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ May 2 2017, 12:24 PM) Yes. This is correct. Maximum RM100 cash back per quarter for each category in your chosen package which in your case it is Trendsetter Package. So for this particular package, you will get a maximum cash back of RM100 each for Style, Travel and Dining. So yes, the maximum cash back you can earn per quarter under eligible purchases is up to RM300 per quarter. The cash back for this category (Travel) is 1% only. So it means you can charge up to RM10,000 per quater to earn the 1% cash back. Erm.. Conflict with what ronnie said, but my understanding is same as yours where RM100 each per each category per quarter (Maximum RM300/quarter). I ask now because I had fully utilized my Dining RM100 for this quarter, and plan to use it to swipe for AirAsia as amount quite big, PBB VS & Quantum MC alone is not enough.. QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ May 3 2017, 12:00 AM) I had always thought it is RM100 per category too but I saw someone who said it isn't calculated such way. But I found out about this last year when I accidentally charged another few hundreds of Ringgit at Uniqlo Fahrenheit 88 after charging slightly more than RM2,000 for dining for that quarter. When the statement came I did get cash back for Style category. So I went through the T&C again and indeed the cap is RM100 per category. Trendsetter Package has 3 categories so the maximum cash back per quarter is RM300. Great! Thank you for your sharing.

QUOTE(ronnie @ May 3 2017, 01:21 AM) I stand corrected.... I've just check my Quarter Apr-Jun 's total rebate was RM116. That prove: HLB MACH max RM100 cash back per quarter per category. Sorry celawBro, take it easy. We just discuss here until the truth reveal. Better than call CS.
