Trying to cancel my flight ..well i receive an e-mail from AA Thai informing that my returning flight has been cancelled and change to a new flight which is later by 20 min only. In that e-mail they did mentioned tat i can have the option to take the credit shell or full refund.
Wanted to the the credit so that i can change my destination but trying the whole day to do it but stil futile.
Anyone had done this b4.

You mean AA automatically cancel your flight and provide 2 options to you on whether to reschedule or credit shell?

Hi all..
Saying hi from Bangkok....
Arrives here yesterday night...
Well about the curfew i think it doesn't cause that much problems as we thought...
Most of the shopping malls, 7eleven and even MRT&BTS did closed earlier compared to normal days...
But not for some of the night life...
I reacher my hotel around 9.30PM and rushed to have dinner...
Quite shocked that most of the shops and stalls still opening after 10PM (those pasar malam stalls of course)...
Still the road is busy and I didn't see any army forces around the hotel i stay( Chada Hotel)...
The curfew does cause some inconinience but I think it's still safe to travel to Bangkok...
Just wake up earlier if you plan to go shopping...
Peace out...

Your contribution certainly help many to make their final decision. Thanks a lot and have a wonderful trip.

Dont worry guys...

The curfew is set to certain places and to thai ppl only...if we are tourist and wandering around, they will just ignore it.

Remember, we are not a threat to their country.

Fyi , message from Thai Air -

I came back from Bangkok on 21May midnight, just before they announced curfew. Even when I was still in Bangkok, we saw a lot of army standing besides road side. When we go to the temple, the staff told us when we was on his way back home in the morning, he passed thru almost 8-9check points (army check point),but still he say it's better because that makes them feels safe. So,for those who are still in dilemma whether to go or not to go, if you are staying near platinum fashion mall area, shouldn't be a problem, lots of eatery there, got mcdonald and 7-11. I stayed at Novotel Bangkok Platinum, very convenient, just below Platinum Fashion Mall. If you guys need any info, feel free to ask.

Yes..its AA Thai who send me an e-mail. They cancel and change to another flight which is 20 minutes later but they did actually give me 3 option, reschedule, credit or refund.
Check with AA, told me its only 20 min, so the option is not availabe rclxub.gif
Check with AA GO ( mine its book thru AA GO incl hotel ), they say ok for the flight but for hotel, will appeal for us..
My trip is on 26 June, now donno whether to proceed with it or cancel n get the flight refund but risk of wasting the hotel room.
But why this AA and AA GO have different stand / policies ??

I am currently at Bangkok. Everything seems normal. Never see any protest or army walking on street also.

Good News is that starting from tomorrow Curfew will be from 12am - 4am.

So for those who are planning or had booked tics to come Bangkok do not have to worry.
