I am sure most are friendly but things do get out of hand. Below copied from facebook. 1.Explosion at Abhisit's house; 2.Shooting near Phatumwan protest stage (3 wounded); 3.Burning of bus at Lang-Lerng https://www.facebook.com/bangkokfansclub

QUOTE(aegis6503 @ May 5 2014, 09:36 AM) Anyone here pls advice for the exchange method for thai baht here. Is it better to bring usd from m'sia then change it to baht in bangkok or directly change rm in bangkok rather than m'sia??? thanks. http://www.superrich1965.com/my calculation was that every RM1k you gain +-RM10 for changing in Bangkok (MYR to THB). Your decision to decide whether worth it or not.

it does seem like you would get more via USD, but question is worth the hassle or not. http://moneymaster.com.my/http://www.superrich1965.com/rate.phpComparison based on RM1000 Exchange rate 1. MYR 10.28 for THB 100 (Malaysia rate) 2. THB 9.83 for MYR 1 (Thailand rate) 3. MYR 3.265 for USD 1 4. THB 32.22 for USD 1 1. MYR to THB in Malaysia RM1000 = THB9728 2. MYR to THB in Bangkok RM1000 = THB9830 3. MYR to USD in Malaysia, USD to THB in Bangkok RM1000 = USD306.28 USD306.28 = THB9868

QUOTE(altamateria @ May 22 2014, 04:04 PM) Has anyone referenced the thai baht exchange rate at a Malaysian currency exchange outlet these few days?? The bank rates are MYR 1 = THB 10.xx from what I see, but it seems the money changers in my area haven't caught up with the rates yet. can always check online http://e-globex.com.my/rates.php

QUOTE(altamateria @ May 22 2014, 04:45 PM) Exactly, online rates and money changers telling me different things. I know there will be a difference but isn't 0.6 sorta..... unless you are not in Klang valley, this e-globex, the one in Desa Park City and MV rates are quite close
