Before i transplanted my Aeroback to 4g91. The stock engine served me quite well for 4 yrs. Never bring headache to me and can make 170kmh at highway, and quite stable also.

Damm,, expensive, come down to Klang and i'll point u to correct chop shop.

Halfcut 4g91 from RM2.5 to RM3.5 Max only. If auto, can get arond RM2K

Labour can't get RM600 ler... At least RM900 in Klang Valley.

Insurance RM20 Puspakom RM40, do it urself , no need to get runner.

RM60 only. If u go thru runner, RM600.

1.3 pulling the same body as a 1.5. the engine which strains more will use more petrol. u do the maths. the 1.3 wira is using an engine that dates back close to 20 years. the 4g91 is close to 8 years. i'm quite sure that the 4g91's fuel consumption would be the same, if not better than the 1.3
*
What do u mean 4g91 close to 8 yrs?

4g91 was in Jap's car since 1991. That's 16 yrs already.

And this engine was lasted til Mid 90's only.

wira second hand...get a 1.5...look for a 4g93T halfcut...20k is enough...last time my cousin pay almost 12k for halfcut+rear disc+4wd tank+aircond+volk racing 16 inch rim+install+new belt+new oil...
*
If Tainted is looking for a good FC engine,

why 4g93T?

Mivec MD will be the choice

err what is the best speed for gear 5?
90km/h?

wira aeroback SE here
*
The best speed is look at the rpm not the speed.

My choice would goes to 2.8K to 3K rpm.

I shift my 5th gear from 4th gear at 120km/h. that was 1.3 GLi.
but normally at 105-110km/h.
*
U can shift ur gear from 4th to 5th with any speed, but just mind the FC.

I can shift my 4g91 from 4th to 5th at 160kmh but that's on a run.

Normally will shift the gear with the rpm not more than 3K.

applies to every gear? What's FC?searched thru wiki, found non related...

Im NOOB T_T
*
FC= Fuel Consumption

Yes, i did that to all gears shift.

No point to tarik the gear to 5k or 6k rpm as i will still reach the destination.

my car is 1.5 auto aero

220KM for RM 50 ringgit is considered high..my car RM50 can go 350 - 400..jaz remove the CAT, other than that all specs are standard. For me drop in air filter is the best rather than open pod filter.

if i not mistaken, wira and satria 1.3/1.5
they share the same spec of absorber.

for wira and putra 1.6/1.8
same spec also

if u wanna put 1.6 spec absorber into a 1.3/1.5, it is possible but u need to mode the place to put the absorbers
*
erm... i had 1.6 abs and spring to my 1.3 wira (now 4g91),

no need to mod lar.

Oh yea.. For 4g91,where do you all think I can get that engine?
I was thinking if I'm not able to get a good 2ndhand Satria,I'll get a cheap one and trasplant the 4g91 auto in it.WHat do you all think?

Btw,labour for transplating, how much is considered reasonable?
*
4g91 auto rm2.5K (max oledi) if more than that, consider expensive

labour rm900 to RM1.5K (depends on various locations)

Spare parts RM1K (e.g. timing kit, hoses, engine oils, gear oils)

Spare another RM500 for future maintenances, e.g.

tuning.

is good to do the overhaul at the sametime when u transplant the engine.
