year 99 not bad, it's mitsu ecu'ed. FYI my frens punya frens got a satria 1.3 less then 14k (year 97/98). you might try to hunt them at your local 2nd car dealer.

if not wrong all batch car b4 year2000 is using mitsu ecu. except the 1 hv changed.

all wira's before 2000/2001 are on mitsu ecu, they are smart .. not like those siemens which i had on mine.

all wira should have power steering. If I'm not mistaken...its required or a standard for cars of that size. For example, Saga cars are lightweight, so they don't need power steering...but Wira different
if you can drive up to 170km/h....RM10 for 60-65KM is damn good ady. Lots of people here can hardly reach 60km. The FC for my 1.3 Wira is 61.5km average and all I do is drive to work

I think that depends on your passenger loads, If you're driving alone most of the time (or with another person), satria should be okay, but if you're a car-pool advocate, you might want to consider Wira

If you can get, try getting the 1.6M, very rare

and 4g92 is a good engine

1.3 to 1.6 no problems. if not you can opt for 4G91, not bad

About it being economical is quite debatable but most of it is true. Just that you'll feel underpower. But all 1.3 comes with Manual GB so should be okay.
