wanna ask... how much to do a top overhaul for wira 1.8 and gearbox servicing... going to reach 160,000km soon... and there is some ticking sound in da engine whenever i accelerate... da ticking frequency become high as da rpm goes higher... anybody know why....

i think is timing belts.. a friend of mine when he rev his car, got that sound then the next day he take go and check and the mech said timing belts

do it slowly... timing belt only RM100-150 rite for 1.5 i think... 1.6 abit higher

send to workshop check 1st. mayb no any problem, just a minor problem only.

how much u all spent for changing timing belt, and geabox oil??

gearbox for 4g92p around Rm200 with Nasa oil and change gasket including workmanship.... but im not going for Nasa oil. Either i go for better oil or Original Proton gearbox oil

Original Proton gearbox oil only rm25.00..just did major service on my car and its in the bill.

can u name out ur major service parts?

tat just the normal oil lor... not the 1 for performance 1.
