14' okay i think. normally, for those changing parts, how long will it takes. one day? 2 days? or can be done on the same day?
*
i think better get a 15" rims... if u add bodykits, and u use those low profile tyre, ur bodykits wont easily scratch or crack.

QUOTE(camel90 @ Nov 8 2006, 07:59 PM)
may i know whats the price for 15' rims?

local one...waht brand meh?...the quality must at least ok la....dun wan rim to bengkok.....sorry for stupid qestion...ask on behalf of my grandpa.....coz i know nuts about car sad.gif
*
local rims? hmm... JRD is one of the locally made rims if im not wrong... i just get my 14" rims for RM600 will the new nuts. then i traded in my old 14" rims cause that time accident and 2 rims spoilt... and manage to get RM150 for trade in. So i pay only Rm250... cause some claim insurance.
JRD 15' brand new rims also can get for RM600... u can try to come Klang to find those cheap new locally made rims.

JRD sucks. Its heavy
Even our stock rims are from JRD anyway
When you take a look, most car enthusiasts won't go for local made rims
*

i have something to confess. i was a ex-wira owner. a 1.5 GLI AUTO 2000. well after using for 5 years i encounter a huge problem which is my gearbox rosak at the first and second gear. haha. ref also cannot move. send it to the workshop and change a half cut 1.5 auto gearbox again for RM 1100 and the guy told me that you will come back soon haha. cuz it will spoil again. really sad having this problem. so to wira owners please check your gear fluid and take care of it if not once spoil will continue. i sold my wira for 15k haha so HID and speaker all gone. sad case
*
taikor... u should tell us earlier mar... i can exchange ur HID with my stock light... hahaha

QUOTE(thom_chai @ Nov 15 2006, 05:47 PM)
Depends on which type of setup u're on, open pod, or drop in. For open pod, some people just bought a heat insulated air hose, and connect it with one end at the front bumper, and another near (not to) the open pod filter.

As for drop in type, u need to connect the hose with one end at the front bumper, and another directly to the stock intake opening.

For Proton Wira efi type, it's difficult to do so because the stock intake opening is situated near the battery, which is a lame design imo. U need to remove the U shape intake hose below the air box, which is much of a hassle, because u need to remove the battery first, or even front bumper if u wanna make it easier.

I'm using original Wira bumper btw smile.gif

kinda hard... make will ask ppl to do it for me... normally workshop or accessories shop do this kinda of CAI stuff?

QUOTE(thom_chai @ Nov 15 2006, 05:58 PM)
