QUOTE(wasdy @ Nov 15 2006, 05:44 PM) i have something to confess. i was a ex-wira owner. a 1.5 GLI AUTO 2000. well after using for 5 years i encounter a huge problem which is my gearbox rosak at the first and second gear. haha. ref also cannot move. send it to the workshop and change a half cut 1.5 auto gearbox again for RM 1100 and the guy told me that you will come back soon haha. cuz it will spoil again. really sad having this problem. so to wira owners please check your gear fluid and take care of it if not once spoil will continue. i sold my wira for 15k haha so HID and speaker all gone. sad case taikor... u should tell us earlier mar... i can exchange ur HID with my stock light... hahahaQUOTE(thom_chai @ Nov 15 2006, 05:47 PM) Depends on which type of setup u're on, open pod, or drop in. For open pod, some people just bought a heat insulated air hose, and connect it with one end at the front bumper, and another near (not to) the open pod filter. kinda hard... make will ask ppl to do it for me... normally workshop or accessories shop do this kinda of CAI stuff? As for drop in type, u need to connect the hose with one end at the front bumper, and another directly to the stock intake opening. For Proton Wira efi type, it's difficult to do so because the stock intake opening is situated near the battery, which is a lame design imo. U need to remove the U shape intake hose below the air box, which is much of a hassle, because u need to remove the battery first, or even front bumper if u wanna make it easier. I'm using original Wira bumper btw QUOTE(thom_chai @ Nov 15 2006, 05:58 PM) i was going to buy from him... but wondering wat type of CAI good....some said use aluminium . |
