QUOTE(PhungTM @ Aug 11 2012, 05:29 PM) I'm not sure whether there is free W8 dvd but you can upgrade to W8 in the near future. a bit over my budget, and thanks for recommendationIf 14" is okay with you: Lenovo Y480, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GT650(GDDR5)@RM2499[JBL], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), backlit keyboard, FreeDOS If not then this: Asus N56Vz-S3088V, i5-3210M + Nvidia GT650M@RM2699[Bang&Olufsen], 4GB, 750GB, W7HP, subwoofer and backpack yes I know can upgrade to windows 8 in future, but don't know need to pay for it to update or not |

QUOTE(xwatermelonx @ Sep 5 2012, 03:54 PM) lenovo y480QUOTE(thesoldier @ Sep 5 2012, 05:01 PM) 1. Preferred Brand : asus/toshiba/acer for me I choose n56vz2. Budget : less than 2900 3. Usage : listening to music, watching videos, movie & pic editing, academic purposes 4. Preferred laptop/screen size : 14"/13" actually I have a few asus laptops in my mind. but some of my friends recommended me to buy toshiba. so, I really need help here. Asus A43SM-VX002V I think it's a bit outdated for now. A45VM-VX09V it fits all what I want. but I need to think more about this one. N56VZ-S3088V The screen size and the weight kills me. It's 15.6" and 2.7 kg. A55VM-SXO37V I didn't like the scree size. It's 15.6" btw, I will travel a lot with the laptop. So, I need the a comfortable laptop for travelling. That means I want a laptop less than 2.5 kg and the screen size will be 14" or 13". Hope someone can help me... else you can consider get lenovo y480 |
