1) Preferred Brand - Doesn't matter.
2) Budget - RM 3k or slightly higher
3) Usage - Movies, Music, Heavy p2p downloads & internet surfing, and some other office work
4) Screen size - below 15"
5)Additional preference - Lighter in weight, Longer lasting battery and high quality speakers.

Planning to change my N45 cause I'm not into gaming much. And I also need a lighter and longer battery life laptop for travelling purposes.

Is 15" considered below 15"?  hmm.gif

Can try these:

HP 14"
[Ultrabook] Envy4-1043TX/1053TX, i5-3317U + AMD HD7670M + [32GB mSATA + 500GB(5400rpm)]@RM2599[Beats][1.75kg], 4GB, W7HP
Pavilion Dm4-3105TX, i5-3210M + AMD HD7570M@RM2699[Beats], 4GB, 750GB(5400rpm), backlit keyboard

Lenovo 14"
Y480, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GT650(GDDR5)@RM2499[JBL], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), backlit keyboard, FreeDOS

Asus 15"
N56Vz-S3088V, i5-3210M + Nvidia GT650M@RM2699[Bang&Olufsen], 4GB, 750GB, W7HP, subwoofer and backpack

Or perhaps you're looking for ultrabooks since it needs to be mobile?  hmm.gif

Thanks. And I don't mind getting ultrabooks as long as there is minimum 500GB space, 2usb ports and a built in dvd drive.
Are there any more ultrabooks with such specs? laugh.gif

and
Lenovo 14"
Y480, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GT650(GDDR5)@RM2499[JBL], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), backlit keyboard, FreeDOS

spec wise, y480 have better cpu and gpu, but note that this model is freedos means you are going to need to install your preferred operating system on your own
