WORST TIRE OVERALL
no grip on water , easy kena buang when corner
You are totally right on this bro. My cheap Duro has more grip than this thing. Almost slip during cornering on 40km/h duno what to say. doh.gif

Well will stuck with it for a long time until the time to change new tyre. Why Yamaha use this tyre yawn.gif

Ps: I will also slip if you riding on the paint on the road.

Minyak Enjin ade check? Kalau too low pun boleh jadi mcm ni. Pasal tak cukup minyak nak lubricate piston dengan gearbox.

dirty carburator maybe? i know when car suddenly "mati" at traffic light, its carburator is full of carbon n etc.
*
Yang ni mungkin boleh jadi.

QUOTE(mls_gamer @ Jul 18 2012, 07:26 PM)
or carburator masuk air ????

Dulu i punyer moto pun mempunyai masalah sama juga...
tapi aftermarket  racing carb lah..... senang masuk air...ZZzzzz
*
Kalau time hujan kene enjin mati ade kemungkinan gak masuk air.

QUOTE(Ips3Ds @ Jul 18 2012, 09:48 PM)
yamahalube apa ntah..lepas try 4-5 kali bru idup balik sad.gif
*
Dulu pernah gak kene kes mcm ni tapi bukan kat lc baru ni whistling.gif . Setiap kali berhenti je enjin mati nak idup payah. Rupanya minyak itam dekat paras minima sesangat. Kene tunggu minyak itam turun baru boleh start balik.

Kene tunggu otai lain menjawabnya. Saya pun newbie je tongue.gif

Install kill switch in hidden area. So they cant start the engine. Install alarm. Extra lock would not hurt. thumbup.gif

how the kill switch operate?
how much it cost?

i think i want it.  brows.gif

Its a simple switch. Even if the key is in ignition the engine wont start until you on back the switch. Put the switch in hidden area. About the cost I myself not sure just know about it because some of my friend do it. I think its a cdi switch or something. laugh.gif

Is it normal for v3 single piston front brake make uneven braking? This is the second time I change my pad and disc for the past 2 month. The disk and pad surface become uneven after just a week usage. All ready service it 2 times at different shop. The problem still persist. cry.gif

Any help are much appreciated.

What you mean by uneven? The disc surface? Visually uneven or physically?
If disc surface become physically uneven may mean the brake pad material is too tough for it. It should break in nicely and have a good shiny surface.

What brake pad you using?
wah, so dedicated?
*
The disc have ridge physically, can fell the ridge when touching the disc. The break pad started to glaze after a week of usage. Already change the pad with 2 different brand but I forgot their name. sweat.gif

i'm starting to incline to change the caliper. wink.gif

New disc having ridges just after a week? The disc have problem kut?
Don't get capalang brand disc, Racingboy included. At least OEM brands like Sunrise. Other brand better research before buy.
*
Original disc after one year can see the ridges. So capalang is a no no for me. So I kena con la ni. rclxub.gif

Anyway what is the best not too expensive dual piston caliper for LC?

Anything that fits, IMO, Nissin? Or, modify together with fork tubes from LCES?
*
Nissin brand any good? Stay away from racing boy brand since it is capalang brand?

Not that good knowing mechanical parts sorry. sweat.gif

I was referring to Racingboy disc. Caliper not sure. But worry if use their caliper also must use their brakepads, later hard to find problem. Also, you'll need to get their adapter kits, too.
Nissin is OEM, should be fine as well.

Another thing to think about is if the brake pump is suitable to upgrade from single pot to two pot or not.
*
Woah thx for the input. I thought all brake pump could be use with two pot caliper. I'm still using ori pump from factory.

y not ??? tukar disc besar sikit .. cukup cengkam la ...
*
I thought those big disc for show only. Never knew for cengkam power.

QUOTE(alexei @ Sep 19 2013, 10:48 PM)
I'm not sure about that. Reason I have that question being, having more pots means you have to move more volume of brake fluid. Otherwise, you pull the brake lever until finish also the caliper won't grip... eeek!
*
I see. Ya the displacement of the fluid also need to take account.

QUOTE(NewGUY @ Sep 20 2013, 03:47 AM)
Rule of a thumb

Use big disc, recommend use standard or not too many pot caliper

Use 4 pots, recommend use standard or too big disc...

My fren use 4 pot caliper and 28mm disc, due to not use, he always jam break & cause his meter damage, his bike his FX125....
*
That's why i'm seeking 2 pot. Im trying to get somewhere in the middle.

Disc big but the screw mount on the rim still same, oversize disc can also damage rims.
*
What is the best range of size for brake disc? Im quite on the heavy side so braking is a bit longer. sweat.gif

I dont mind spending on good brake system because it is very vital.

Oh nice set. So I just should take LCES set because it is plug N play. Thx for the suggestion. thumbup.gif

u are using LC es or SS?
LC ES twin piston caliper cannot be mount on LC SS/4 speed v2 due to the difference mounting on the fork..
my opinion
larger disc,2pot,4 pot or 6 pot caliper is useless if u use cheap brake pads..

i think use 260mm/ 300mm disc that use good material(ori disc/RB) and get a good disc pad( RB distribute Elig for my experience, quite good or faito sintered pads, feedback also good)single piston (LC SS) already good if u ride below 120KM/h GPS
*
Im not sure what model of LC im using. Last year model the one without clutch four gears (the bulkier body kit). Just past the 1 years 2 months barrier, the glazing brake pad problem appear. I try faito brand brake pad and an OEM brake pad, but the problem still persist. I'm not riding that fast but the momentum from the weight is a bit hard for the brake. sweat.gif
