Too bad the flight time is not what I opted for.

just came back from Tokyo 2 weeks ago. Saw AAX promo and booked Nov 13 to Osaka.

Just wondering on the visa thing. I used to get travel agent to do for me, RM150 per passport. For next trip, I want to save the money because we have 5 ppl (5 x RM 150) = RM 750. Since I am staying in Kuching, and the only embassy available is in KK, can I get my KK friend to submit all the docs to the embassy on my behalf?

Thanks in advance...

Since there is no specific target, it will be just walking and stop when there is something that pique our interest. For example, Shinjuku and Shibuya are 2 very large location. Is there any specific area like Bukit Bintang golden triangle or shopping malls area?

Another question is, people use to say that Shinjuku/Shibuya/Harajuku are all within walking distance..so is it common to walk from Shinjuku to Harajuku or take the rail? I can cover the 2.8 km distance by walking, but just wanna know what a common tourist will do  biggrin.gif

Also what is the meaning of the symbol inside the red box? using same line but haave to disembark and take the next train?

I am not sure about Shibuya but Shinjuku is in fact within walking distance to Harajuku. I stayed at Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku, took a light stroll towards Harajuku, with a 3-year son in a stroller! It's a breeze, knowing japanese streets are pedestrian-friendly, meaning walkway is very wide and not many bumps to overcome.

Cant remember how long it took me to walk to Harajuku, because we stopped by Meiji Shrine to witness Shichi-Go-San festival. Then we walked out of the shrine, and there was Harajuku. Not a sweat. Enjoy!

hello minna-san,
I have booked KUL-Kansai airport for coming Nov for 7 nights. So I am planning split between Osaka and Kyoto. Which city do you recommend me to stay longer? Like Osaka 3 nights, Kyoto 4 nights? or the other way round.

My aim is mostly food, souvenirs, and scenery. Thanks.

Hi guys, I am going to tokyo for 6 days (9 nov to 14 nov), since AA flight is abit screwed up, me and my gf will be arriving about 11pm at Haneda Airport.

We booked a hotel at Shinagawa just for a night then we proceed to another hotel booked for the rest of the days at Nihonbashi.

1) i tried looking at the trains routes and im really confused, should i just buy ticket wherever i go OR buy the JR pass?

2) places plan for sight seeing are shibuya, harajuku, shinjuku, disneyland (1 whole day), mt. fuji

3) what other places to visit in tokyo?  rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif thanks thanks

you may want to add hakone (together with your mt fuji trip), skytree (my fav), or akihabara?
