I went to Kinkakuji around 18th of September. I already know it was raining due to the forecast the previous day, i was like hesitate wanted to go there or not cause I am going from Osaka to Kyoto, will waste around 1 hour time to reach there. But I just went there and apparently I saw there were still a lot of people there as well even though it is raining.
I walk from Kinkakuji to Ryoanjin temple. And it was raining, so my shoes were all wet lol. If you like to walk, then you should do it. It takes around 15 min to reach there i guess?
Salute you. I walk from Kinkakuji to Ryoanji as well. Really tiring. But it is really a good chance to see how they live. In the middle of the journey, there is a school, and you can see those kids really walk to school, some get on to buses and some cycle. Really like those in the moviesI walk from Kinkakuji to Ryoanjin temple. And it was raining, so my shoes were all wet lol. If you like to walk, then you should do it. It takes around 15 min to reach there i guess?
