hi, guys, need suggestion here, i have bought an one way ticket to tokyo on early april, and plan to depart from osaka. (Haven't bought the other tic)

MY route will be like Tokyo ->Hakone ->Tokyo -> Kyoto -> Osaka..

7 days? 10days? 14days? do jr pass worth it?

what is the minimum $$ requirement for bank statement for applying visa?

Guys, disneyland or disneysea? I will go japan on this early april with my fiANCE But the time a bit packed, which one more worth it?

Will going to japan from 4/4 to 13/4 =) with my fiancee, all hotels booked, visa done ! can't wait.. the initiary just half way. My fiancee love to take photo instead shoppin lucky me

4/4 (thurs)
- Arrival on haneda airport, estimate after check out.. 1130pm++
- Stay one night at tokyo inn haneda airport (anyone has experience in staying in this hotel? do they provide free shuttle till this late)

5/4 (friday)
- Breakfast at tokyo inn haneda airport
- Depart to shinjuku by yamanote line.. estimate reach Keio plaza tokyo hotel at 830am, drop luggage
- Exploring shinjuku - watching sakura at shinjuku Gyoen National Garden (is it worth to take tokyo metro or just walk all the way from the hotel?)
- Lunch at shinjuku
- Take Tokyo metro to shibuya, Meiji shrine
- Then to Roppongi during evening.., or (do Tokyo tower worth a visit? it's a bit packed here)
- Tokyo City View (Need reservation? or is it possible full?)
- Going back to hotel

6/4 (Saturday)
- Wake up super early for Tsujiki market ( .. i doubt my fiance agree on this) Q-ing for Sushi at 530
- Alternatively any other good restaurant for recommendation without long Q/or acceptable Q for those who reach the market at 8?
- Then to Tokyo Station -> visit imperial palace, garden
- Lunch at the surrounding
- Take Yurikamome Line to Odaiba-kaihinkoen, explore around odaiba.. ( I think it will be too tired if walk the rainbow bridge)
- To oedo-Onsen-Monogatari at evening
- Going back to shinjuku

7/4 (Sunday)
- Breakfast at Ueno ..( Any good recommendation?) or anyone know hw much the price for buffet breakfast in keio plaza per pac? my fiance love unlimited salmon sashimi...
- Ueno Park sakura viewing
- Exploring Asakusa, lunch
- Walking along the sumida river to skytree (besides observatory deck? any good attraction at skytree ya)
- Akihabara my fiancee must be boring heee or alternatively will go back shinjuku earlier today to experience the night life

8/4 (Monday)
- Breakfast at shinjuku, then to Disneyland (wholeday trip)

9/4 (Tuesday) at hakone
- Buy hakone freepass, plan to take romancer to hakone yumoto , so each person = 5000+870? (CanI buy hakone freepass in advance for designate date + reserve for romancer or need to buy it on sameday on departure?)
-estimate reach hakone 9am, Drop luggage at Tonosawa Ichinoyu Shinkan
-Open air museum -> gora
-Cable car to Souzan, ropeway to Owakudani (lunch at owakudani)
-To Togendai, Cruise sightseeing at Lake ashi, board at moto hakone -> Hakone Shrine
-Take tozan bus back to hakone yumooto then back to hotel for dinner

Question here, the hotel i book come with dinner at 7pm. I worry i may miss the dinner how long it take for the cruise to get from togendai to moto hakone and then the bus back to hakone yumoto.

Need suggestion here.

or i can consider visit open airmuseum and gora the next morning before depart to kyoto

10/4 -> unplanned yet.. Going to Kyoto

mind to ask any attraction at hakone machi ya? not too sure

passing cedar avenue take how long ya? and how many time i should alocate for Owakudani

Don't think i will get the JR Pass.
Will take Tokaido Shinkansen from Odawara to Kyoto, then spend 4days in Kyoto before depart from Osaka.

Decided to have more slow pace journey in Hakone, and enjoy onsen there before travelling to kyoto.
Estimate reach Kyoto at 2pm+ on next day, checked in hotel already 3pm+, so only left half day in kyoto.
-initially plan is visit to Kinkakuji, then around surrounding temple (ryoanji and ninaji) if still opened. Or any good suggestion for afternoon? as well as night?


The next day
-Ginkakuji
-Philosopher path
-Nanzenji
-Keage Trail
-Heian Shrine, Yasaka Shrine, Kodaiji
-Higashima area
-Kiyomizudera

-Dinner around gion area.. Hope the food affordable

Day 9
- spend full day in Arashiyama-sen area.. plan to go the a kimono rental shop around this area and rent 1 for my fiance
Is it awkward if walking around in kimono?

Day 10
-Last day in Japan.. But Flight at 2335 from osaka.
-Will visit Kinkakuji if we are unable to visit on the 1st day or will left to osaka..
-Any suggestion for half day initiary for osaka before leaving... The aquarium worth it? Shopping ?

another question, sk2 in japan cheaper or more expensive than here ? hehe.. any bargain to buy in japan?

The embassy in penang very fussy, require printed flight tic, then all hotel address and phone number in the initiary..
For activity i fill up the location, while plan - all sightseeing

Anyone reserve room via japanican? Just bring the print invoice then can check in?

Still have chance to see sakura in tokyo according to this forecast, hanafubuki (falling of sakura) is on 5 april at shinjuku gyoen

but most likely i will cancel trip to ueno park =/ may be all become botak already =(

for kyoto part, The sakura along philosophy of path and keage trail also bloom much more early

just pray japan suddenly very cold this few day.. all sakura delay blooming

Anyone went yoshino for sakura festival before
Read that, Kintetsu train will be very crowded during the festival, and sometimes need to even reserve for kintetsu limited express

Oneway reserve fee cost 2,480yens, so one person = 5000yen

While Kintetsu rail pass cost only 3700yen per person, but the pass offer 3 limited express ticket, so it's cheaper?
Do my calculation correct? or the rail pass holder need to pay extra somemore?

according to the forecast here, most of sakura in kyoto haven bloom yet ... but soon on 25th march, will check few days later to see if it's correct. Haha.. just hope the forecast is inaccurate.

Worst come to worst, still have other alternatives like going to mt yoshino or mint osaka which according to the forecast, start bloom late.

Saw in Youtube people is still wearing jacket and long pants during hanami =/ wonder if only wear skirt/legging, will it too little?
