who used jr pass b4 for purpose other than shinkansen?
can't find the info i wan on jr pass web n some other web

i wanna ask, if we holding jr pass n wanna take jr train within the city
say from shinjuku to akihabara, do i still need to go to que at the counter to get ticket? or i can just show the jr pass n take the normal train (none shinkansen)?

well i made my ryokan reservation liao. Ryokan Shimizu, 13600yen/night for 2pax (no meals). Can't afford any of the "top top" ryokan's so have to go for this one

I think there shouldn't be any problem. If you check the visa application requirements on the Japan embassy website, you will see the list of required documents (assuming you are applying for a tourist visa) and one of it is a letter from your employer stating your employer's name, duration of employment and position. In my opinion, it's just to show that you are currently employed, in receipt of a regular salary, and that you won't be "jumping ship" in Japan

For your second question, it's a good idea to pump in some money to your current/savings account (any amount you deem sufficient for your trip), coupled with proof of any other liquid assets that you have (eg. fixed deposits, etc.). Just remember to get the copies certified by the bank before you submit them to the Japan embassy.

Haha.. My return ticket per pax only RM550X3 mah.. and that was the most expensive..Others, that hotel only RM1100 for 5 nites..Others normal daily makan & traveling....So ~ RM5K enuf for 3 person liao

well now..it's officially cancelled..my another member also cancel his trip. burn RM715(ticket) + RM100(passport)
wish can do that..but no budget..
no..everything already done for malaysia part..like visa, flight ticket..the missing part is when the mastermind withdraw from the trip last minute..
as he the one who need to arrange living, transport at japan..now these 2 days we need to carve to settle down the planning..
and unfortunately we're unable to make it done..so everybody need to cancel this trip.. will arrange for next time..surely next time.. haha

anyway short question:
how long do you normally spend at the imperial east garden? is skytree & akihabara a must visit ? how much is the tickets to go up the observeratory deck? 

assuming i want to reach tsukiji fish market and queue for the famous sushi at 7am, and i need to reach Asakusa Station by around 3.45pm and take the train to Apa Hotel at chiba prefecture, between sky tree, akihabara and imperial east garden, which should i choose? or is it possible to go all 3 ?
