Hi,

I think there shouldn't be any problem. If you check the visa application requirements on the Japan embassy website, you will see the list of required documents (assuming you are applying for a tourist visa) and one of it is a letter from your employer stating your employer's name, duration of employment and position. In my opinion, it's just to show that you are currently employed, in receipt of a regular salary, and that you won't be "jumping ship" in Japan smile.gif

For your second question, it's a good idea to pump in some money to your current/savings account (any amount you deem sufficient for your trip), coupled with proof of any other liquid assets that you have (eg. fixed deposits, etc.). Just remember to get the copies certified by the bank before you submit them to the Japan embassy.

last time i apply for the visa that time, they din even see the last 3 month bank statement that i have, all they wanna see is the balance u have in ur acc... not as strict as we tot... laugh.gif laugh.gif

thanks for the recommendation biggrin.gif
________________

anyway short question:
how long do you normally spend at the imperial east garden? is skytree & akihabara a must visit ? how much is the tickets to go up the observeratory deck?

assuming i want to reach tsukiji fish market and queue for the famous sushi at 7am, and i need to reach Asakusa Station by around 3.45pm and take the train to Apa Hotel at chiba prefecture, between sky tree, akihabara and imperial east garden, which should i choose? or is it possible to go all 3 ?

biggrin.gif  thanks!
*
if u r able to go to tsukiji fish market earlier, den i think should be able to cover it... if u be thr around 5am, u can see the tuna auction, den around 6-6.30 go to Sushi Dai / Dai wa, during that time the Q should be around 15min... after that, u can head to sky tree, akihabara or imperial east garden... if u reach sushi Dai at 7 onwards, den guess u need to prepare for 1 hour+ Q...

for my case, i jus spent around 2 hours around akihabara oni... jus browse around those gadget shops and game shops... unless u wanna buy a lot of gadgets, u can spend more time at imperial east garden...
