I'm not sure whether the earlier poster who asked the same question is part of your group but since this question been asked again within days, here's my answer although I have not been to Godemba - Nothing is really cheap in Japan. Even the Casio watch, games & etc are much more expensive than in M'sia. Just a simple super thin souvenir shirt wth "I love Tokyo" already 1000yen  biggrin.gif
*
LOL, Still remember the Casio Watch I asked you to buy? That time was 53,000 Yen. Now selling price are 61,000 Yen already.

My investment Untung already !!!!

Is the sky tree nowadays very hard to buy the entrance ticket? Is anyone been there before? Is it advisable to go there?

Is the hairdrye from Malaysia can used it at Japan?
*
go early ...sure can get ticket...but current now are raining / snow storm week......the fog are too thick . not advise to go.

Most Japan hotel got hairdye ....If you brings yours to japan....1st the socket are diffrent....2nd Japan power source just 110V....not enough to turn your 220V hairdye motor..

Hi guys, I'm planning (budgeting) a 10 weeks trip to Japan to do an intensive language course in Kyoto.

It is my first time budgeting for a trip this long and I'm just wondering what the cost of living in Japan is like for those who had stayed in Japan before.

Personal experiences would also be much appreciated. What and how do you guys think I should budget for?  blush.gif

Living in Tokyo? You need 2 jobs. Unless you rich.

I work and study at Japan for 6 years......seriously need 2 jobs....life was hard.....

Normal work at Airport collecting exp and licence. Night time i work in ramen shop. 2 job only enough cover living cost.

hi there guys,

I wanna ask about the visa application for japan. The itinerary part, i see there are a few things to fill up

Year(x) Month(x) Day(x)

The schedules of stay in Japan of the visa applicant (x) and (x) others are as follows:

Can someone let me know a sample on what am i suppose to fill up for the (x) part? Cause i am not really sure on it.

http://weathernews.jp/sakura/#//ddm=famouspl_list/c=54

according to the forecast here, most of sakura in kyoto haven bloom yet ... but soon on 25th march, will check few days later to see if it's correct. Haha.. just hope the forecast is inaccurate.

Worst come to worst, still have other alternatives like going to mt yoshino or mint osaka which according to the forecast, start bloom late.

LoL. I just back from Kansai 3 days ago. The Philoseher path already full of sakura bloom. Japanese already starting packing for picnic .
