Firstly what is gigabyte S1081 Slate pc.
In short,

1) It's a Window slate.
2) Running Intel Atom N2800.
3) 2GB DDR3 1333MHz, upgradable to Max 4GB DDR3 1333MHz.
4) USB 3.0, RJ45, SD card Reader, Audio out, and mic in.
5) Accessories consist of D1080 Docking center and extended Batteries.

After Open Box
There will be Screen protector attached on it, power supply, a screen mop and leather tablet protector.


Installing Upgrade

Open out the slate with a T8 Torx Screwdriver with orange circle.


The inner electronics view of the slate is as below picture.
The yellow box is a PCI Express Mini port which can be install a Huawei EM770W card on it.
The blow box is the RAM which can be upgraded to 4GB DDR3 1333MHz.


The accessories of Upgrade
Huawei EM770W takes me 1 weeks to deliver
4GB DDR3 1333MHz any computer shop can be found.


After the installation


QA check
RAM is alright.
3G card is ok.
