Usual power loss. Besides the gearbox set, meter panel, gear lever panel, pedal, ECU and better to swap drive shaft also. Best is finding a same age car to swap.

Guys, i hope that anyone can help me. I am driving a satria neo 1.3. my mileage is over 100k already. Recently i topup the aircond gas cause it is not cold anymore. Then otw drive back home when the car is accelerating with the aircond on, the car is a bit lag. When the aircond is off, the car is smooth! May I know what has caused this?
*
I think air-con not cold has nothing to do with gas la. As we now gas is only circulated inside, unless there is a leakage or swollen hose where the gas slowly leaked out. Correct gas pressure is important or if too high it will suffocate the compressor which in turn caused the pulley to work harder. lol.
You should have it service instead. Get the dryer replace and cooling coil clean up. Maybe compressor need adequate re-oiling also.

Ermm..oh i see...

how abt using lcp? hehe
*
Dunno la, me car noob but I think lcp shed few thousand gram off the stock cp weight so low end power increased kot.
Need proper damper installation also.
Still cannot beat lbw as in light body weight of the driver laugh.gif

after 4 days the confidence is back...muahahaha...same speed taking the same corner...I never thought the Yoko CD2 is grippy but it can handle the corners quite OK...the most important thing, that tat!tat!tat! sound is already gone...
*
So you using 195/50/15 now? Yoko CD2's performance is acceptable la. Pump 230 front and 210kpa rear you can whack corner already tongue.gif

At first the tauke told me to need to use spacer also for my car , because got one cps before me with exact same rims needed to use 5mm spacers for the rear. But when he test fit the rim on my car no need spacer at all.  blink.gif Now i'm wondering why same car but got different measurements.
*
I think its not spacer but the center cone ring to avoid vibration.
Last time my friend's CPS downgrade to 15' also no spacer needed. Just the center cone ring.

mytheology (i think thats how u spell it)

has the harmonic dampener (which the stock one has) as well.. most aftermarket brands dont.
*
+1 !
Highly recommended stuff. Was using it about 5 years back. That time, the only brand with good damper and not noisy.

You're a 'P' driver? Oh phew! I thought I'm the only 'P' driver here  sweat.gif

Em guys. Considering that my car is new, my parents transported it from the showroom to the house. My dad mentioned that the gear stick is kinda 'iffy'. Not sure what he means by that but do you guys know anything about it?

Here's a story : The Proton Manager wanted to put my car on the showroom display on Saturday and Sunday to show it off. My dad refused it because he thought people would test drive it  sweat.gif  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
*
From what i see, Sabahan don't like 2 doors car. Reason why yours is the first one brows.gif
They prefer Hilux, Navarra, Ranger and D-max. Triton also very less.

We use the term 'stick' to describe the gear change la. Short shifter will be great.

Just told them to give some freebies, maybe security tint, then only you agree to put it in the showroom but make sure its locked and take back your car key so
no test drive and no one banging the door laugh.gif

Nothing much that I can think of as it cannot be seen from outside but engine bay will be well lighted in case you need to open it in the middle of the night. lol.

Noob car here, is the bhp/torque of stock neo campro cps good enough to support its weight?

weight is 1220kg compared to 900kg myvi and 1000kg swift... I test drive swift 1.4 the other day feel so underpowered.

Can I take neo with 4 poeple in it up going to Genting? Got enough juice from campro cps?
*
Myvi, vios and city does have a better acceleration compare to heavier Neo CPS.
Neo CPS's cramped rear seat is not comfortable for long distance. Worst for rear passenger on corners but I went up to Genting recently in stock Waja CPS auto with 3 adults and 2 kids onboard. I don't even play with gears. Just let the D do the job. I could say power is just adequate if you can maintain the rpm over 3.5k. Even friends was quite surprise one of them currently hunting for good Waja CPS auto... whistling.gif
Sudden acceleration when passing a slower car is okay too. Manual gear or even playing with L-2-3-D should be more fun as what I experimenting when going down as the fl auto gearbox is quite annoying going downhill.
In fact, you should worry more about going down from Genting as engine braking is needed to compensate the weak stock brake.
The simple trick of driving a campro is maintaining the engine at higher rpm and forget about fc.... laugh.gif
