Guys ive been thinking to mod my engine for more power, but whats the best path to take?

My aim is to achieve at least 170hp (forced induction) or 150hp (NA)

Ive identified three working garages:

1. Dori2 Autoworks (for NA/ Turbo)
2. Speedworks (for supercharged)
3. GT Auto (for NA/Turbo)

Just wanna know is there any other Campro specialist workshops out there that i should consider?

Budget will be around 10-20k

Been considering NA mods for a while now, but the power gain is not that much considering the amount of money required.

My advice if you wanna mod.. keep it under 1 workshop only. Don't rojak! If not if something happened to your car, blaming war will arise!

So choose your workshop wisely..

I agree. Since u got 20k to spend, transplant a 4g93T and you can upgrade even more from there and run higher turbo boost.

If you want to keep your stock engine then go turbo more worth it, since you got budget you can upgrade the internals for engine longevity.

The thing is, I dont wanna change the dashboard, plus 4g93t is already too old.

I heard campro cant hold anything more than 1.0 bar boost, hopefully with internal upgrades I can raise the boost further.

Then again most will usually opt to swap the engine altogether if they target >200 hp, so ive decided to limit the target power gain to <200hp just to "get used" to modding scene.

Campro can get around 180hp with 0.4-0.5 boost for turbo. Or can opt for the sprintex supercharger also... that one even less hassel, dun even need intercooler. Also around 170-180hp. Cost around 10k for the package.

Better get SC coz it wont heat up ur engine bay, better wait for R3 SC though, maybe this year? or never release lol.

dont change ur dashboard then... theres no NEED to do it... too old? a quick rebuilt with new bearings, seals etc and a good cleanup would be good.

internal upgrades isnt just about piston and conrod... u gotta make sure ur sleeves (which is thin in the campro) can handle it...also make sure the crank can handle it etc etc etc...but of course will depend on how much power u wanna make.

got a friend with Gen2 CPS Turbo @ 1.1bar.. with port n polish and all stock internals... pushing 250whp....runs fine.....runs great actually...spent about 16-17k total by now inclusive of the haltech...and inclusive of the clutch... and also the head that he had to replace recently due to the old one decided to die on him.

Con- when bumping ur tyre will hit fender.
Ur sidewall tyre.

Pro- idk.

I only use spacer to put the centre cap on the sport rim.
