Helo guys, just wanna ask, did anyone used 17 inch rims here?

Just changed mine to 17 inch after installing GAB SS absorber. Now the power kinda sluggish ler..

My Car: Satria Neo CPS

Mods:
-Works Simota Carbon Air Filter (CAI)
-Super Street exhaust (full set)
-Raizin Blue (Pivot)
-Doris Racing slotted Disc (front brake)
-GAB SS fully adjustable
-17 inch Volks VR G2 type 2 replica sport rim
-Achilles ATR sport tyre

Now with 17 inch, the car felt heavy, thinking of pumping nitrogen on the tyre this weekend. But other than that any advice on how to increase the acceleration?

I have several mods in my mind right now:

Thinking of installing supercharger from speedworks, just but that would require at least 9 k just for the system alone..

Other than that i might upgrade my stock ECU, just not sure whether its worth the money though...

any recommendation on what is the next step to gain more HP?

Im aiming to get at least 140HP on NA, (with internals,PNP,cranks etc.)

Will target more (180HP) on forced induction mods. (turbo/supercharger)

I had same experience wif using my old car...always go to the left although its not obvious..but quite annoying..so i regularly did alignment but still not solve...adjust chmber also same..then the mchanic advice to replace steering rack..now problem solve..my car can go straight without steer/guide it...

Gotta check you bearing, sometimes worn bearing will cause steering issues.

I used 17 inch with 205/40 tires..car become slightly more 'ringan' and fc oso improve..  thumbup.gif

What size tires u using bro? Btw, how much did u get the GAB ss series ya? Plan to change oso here..
*
My tyre size is 205/45, so the wall is a bit bigger id say..

I guess thats why it feels heavier.

I bought the GAB SS at Kakimotor 2k with installation and 2 free setups.

Changed the absorber since my stock one already spoilt and i missed the warranty period.

So far it the suspension feels great, the car feels planted and I can really feel the "G" pulling me during corners.

Need to get the bucket seats afterwards hehehe..

Yeap confirmed PU by the shop owner..

Priced at RM 1300 installed. Is it a good price?

oic..hehe

if semi bucket, ok kah?

duwan tergelincir again when whack corner ! tongue.gif

bawak bertenang..after  brows.gif , baru mod tu laugh.gif
*
Main reason for changing is to reduce seat height plus a bit of cornering grip la.

Tapi bukannye selalu cornering pun, at least semi bucket ni can hold my body better than stock la. laugh.gif

Guys ive been thinking to mod my engine for more power, but whats the best path to take?

My aim is to achieve at least 170hp (forced induction) or 150hp (NA)

Ive identified three working garages:

1. Dori2 Autoworks (for NA/ Turbo)
2. Speedworks (for supercharged)
3. GT Auto (for NA/Turbo)

Just wanna know is there any other Campro specialist workshops out there that i should consider?

Budget will be around 10-20k

Been considering NA mods for a while now, but the power gain is not that much considering the amount of money required.

with that kinda budget u can transplant 4g93t n mod to ard 3xx whp....

if u have that kinda budget dun waste ur time n money on the stock engine...
*
The thing is, I dont wanna change the dashboard, plus 4g93t is already too old.

QUOTE(XlimShady @ Nov 24 2012, 12:31 PM)
I agree. Since u got 20k to spend, transplant a 4g93T and you can upgrade even more from there and run higher turbo boost.

If you want to keep your stock engine then go turbo more worth it, since you got budget you can upgrade the internals for engine longevity.
*
I heard campro cant hold anything more than 1.0 bar boost, hopefully with internal upgrades I can raise the boost further.

Then again most will usually opt to swap the engine altogether if they target >200 hp, so ive decided to limit the target power gain to <200hp just to "get used" to modding scene.
