I really love Miri's sunset view. What were you doing there that time? Or is Miri your hometown?  smile.gif
*
The sunset in Beach Republic is comparable to Tanjung Aru but lose out to Pantai Chenang in Langkawi...lol.
Was involved with some system setup with Marriot. The oil town is growing so fast lately as Brunei people can just drive over the flyover to
Miri for entertainment laugh.gif .
MC5 is okay if you don't push the car to the limit.

Break sound cannot kasi diam one as it's already break laugh.gif .That 'ngeek ngeek' sound when you brake slowly especially when traffic jam downhill is a Proton trademark. I managed to get rid of it in my old ride. Changed the worn out and uneven disc and pad all round, and most of all, adjust the brake pedal play.

Actually even with the low center of gravity and 'fat' tyres, the MC5 can fail. Done 80 on the roundabout, if twitch, your car will definitely spin out. Well, that's what I experienced anyways. sad.gif

RM260, cheaper and better than MC5?

Sometimes Tg. Aru's sunset is spoiled by the black clouds when it's about to rain sad.gif
Due to good economy, Brunei will always drive down to Miri to shop till they drop. They really ransack Bintang Megamall rclxub.gif

Well, did pushed my MC5 to the limit. Spun out on 80km/h during a mini Gymkhana event. sweat.gif

Miri Oiltown is growing well. So many goodie goodie cars. Miri's best known for OCCC; The Oiltown Classic Car Club.

MC5 just be cautious..although I personally haven't tested it

If you're really into spirited driving..consider stickier tyres

But of course..if you're on a budget..then be cautious when you take the corners/during spirited drive

Generally rule of thumb - it's the threadwear rating and pricing laugh.gif

However..this may sometimes vary due to manufacturer's standards

I think some may have used the Goodyear NCT5..treadwear rating at 240

And I've read the NCT5 famous bad reviews..so yeah

Imagine NCT 5 (Treadwear 240) vs RE001/2 (Treadwear 220)

2 different grip level

If I'm not mistaken it's about 200-something..I think 240..not far off..cause I asked keisukerx7 before..he was on NCT5 previously and I was shocked when he mentioned the treadwear was 200-something

Cannot compare at all.

Before trading in my Neo, it has Michelin PS3 all around... When taking hard corners / long big corner, it screech like "helppppppppppppppppppp"... But still gripping la, just not as good as the R series from Toyo.

ATR won't screech easily though...

T1R memang soft. R1R also soft...

That's why i've been recommending to try Nitto NT series if they wan harder / reinforced tyre wall n structure, since the compound are the close or better than the Toyo R compounds.

Nitto are manufactured by Toyo though. Harder wall, and the ability to withstand higher temperature brows.gif
