する suru = verbs
~ている ~te iru = present continuous

e.g.
taberu = eat
tabeteiru = eating

but in the case of "nani wo.."
nani wo shimasu ka = what are you having? /what are you going to have?
nani wo shite imasu ka = what are you doing (there)?
